@Matt_Bove Pens have players that know what it takes to win games. Sabres do not. You saw the difference immediately after the Sabres went up 5-4. Pens kicked their play up another level and Sabres crumbled.

@sabrenoise Not enough shots on goal every game. Settling for perimeter play and playing on the walls. If they put up 30-40 shots per game and crashed the crease with bodies, they’d have a lot more wins.

@Matt_Bove This is why I’m starting to hate football. Officiating just dictates the game. Intentional grounding, taunting, and the roughing the passer calls all week and never called consistently.

@Matt_Bove Agreed goaltending can be better, but more than anything it’s about not doing what it takes to be the better team. Outworking the other guy, paying the price and locking it down defensively, and crashing the net on offensive. The other team seems to always have more bite.
