The attack on Speaker Pelosi’s family was not a “random act.” It was the logical result of a Republican Party that has targeted the Speaker and other prominent women in public life for over a decade now, and then gaslights us when we call out its danger.
Just a few examples:
It's always "$600 checks two years ago and 50-cent raises for workers are causing inflation"
and never "$3 trillion from the Fed to bail out the stock market, $1 trillion in annual corporate stock buybacks and a 1,322% rise in CEO pay since 1978 are causing inflation"
I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.
Gonna be very weird if Supreme Court ends a constitutional right to obtain an abortion next week, saying it should be left to the States to decide, right after it just imposed a constitutional right to concealed carry of firearms, saying it cannot be left to the States to decide
While Elon Musk lays off 10 percent of Tesla employees, he's set to take home $23 billion bonus. Yes, $23 billion.
The economy is somehow always great for billionaires, bad for workers.
