@ShaunLintern@NHSBartsHealth We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr Elvon Morton. We are taking the inquest's findings very seriously and are addressing the coroner's concerns. Our efforts to improve our practices and enhance patient safety will continue to be a top priority.
@sainsburys what’s up today? Just told by text with no notice that I can’t have today’s delivery (scheduled now) due to “an unforeseen issue” and to phone in to reschedule, only to be told you are so busy no-one can answer and I should call back in a few hours.
@sainsburys unprecedented (12) substitutions in my order delivered today 666012771 but main concern is missing a 4pt (2.27l) bottle of Sainsbury’s British skimmed milk (two ordered, only one delivered). So need a refund, please. Would have preferred to call but waiting too long…
Masterstroke by @Sainsburys_Bank responding to the cost-of-living crisis with a unilateral 75% devaluation of Nectar points in one of those annoying emails you can’t reply to but don’t give any explanation. Perhaps @sainsburys can justify?
@A_WilliamsNHS tells @NHSBartsHealth board: “Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine in these terrible times. We have reached out to staff affected, offering psychological support, and shared information about being part of the humanitarian response locally and nationally.”
At her first Board meeting @NHSBartsHealth chair @Jacqui_Smith1 thanks staff for their warm welcome, and as chair in common with @BHRUT_NHS sets test for our collaboration - our work will enable our patients to get more effective access, better experience and improved outcomes.
@NHSBartsHealth income topped £1.5bn for the first time in 2018/19, acting finance chief Bill Boa told Trust board. Our £84.2m deficit accounted for by not receiving any central sustainability funds, the outcome of a specialist commissioning dispute, and operational pressures.
@Michael_Pantlin confirms permanent staff @NHSBartsHealth is at an all-time high of 93.6% - within striking distance of our ambition to “drive to 95” - with all our four acute hospitals now having over 90% substantive staffing.
And on @NHSBartsHealth finances, chair Ian Peters added; “We have met all the objective criteria for exiting financial special measures. We are in active discussions with the regulator about this, and I hope to bring good news shortly.”
Upbeat @NHSBartsHealth chair Ian Peters to the Trust board: “We are within touching distance of Barts Health being rated ‘good’ overall. None of you are complacent, we are on a journey, but we should recognise the supreme effort being made by staff.”
What a great day and well done @yvonnecoghill1 for the best conference on this topic I have had the privilege to attend. Looking forward to hearing more from our WRES Experts - enjoy tomorrow. 🤓
