@USMNT This was very poor planning to host a World Cup tune up match at a stadium with a poor quality pitch of sod over turf. There are many stadiums that have natural grass you could’ve used that would have been better for the teams’ World Cup preparation. Do better US Soccer.

@PolymarketSport As an American, I applaud this! I am disgusted with FIFA for creating a halftime show. If they want to have a pre-match/post-match concert that’s one thing, but once the whistle blows to kickoff the final, those 90 minutes are sacred.

@ClayLaSoul CFB & CBB are popular despite being a lower level due to tradition, history, and community. 30 yrs ago MLS didn’t exist. Teams are league owned franchises, not local clubs. MLS lacks history and quality, but in time maybe kids will say their fav team is Inter Miami over Barcelona

@stuholden Shame on you for mentioning commercial/sponsorship interests in altering the rules of the game!
Referees simply need to use the tools at their disposal. Add more stoppage time. Yellow cards for time wasting/simulation. VAR can be a big waste of time too, that’s where I’d start.

@MLSist @MattHughesMedia No thank you. This would just lead to longer games, full of advertisements, ruining the sport even worse than gamesmanship does. Anything that allows broadcasters to cutaway to commercial on television is detrimental to the sport.

@TheLateRunShow This is one of the most oversimplified takes I hear repeatedly about US Soccer. Most athletic ≠ Best at a sport. Tom Brady certainly wasn’t the most athletic football player. Also, the best players in the NBA and MLB are all foreigners right now anyway…
