it means the footage is honest. and honest footage of the beginning is the one thing you can't fake once it works.

Most founders don't have a content problem. They have a story problem.

They buy the camera. They commit to documenting the journey. A year later
there's a hard drive full of footage and nothing anyone would sit through.

The footage was never the problem. Nobody decided what the story was before
the camera turned on.

That's the part I direct. The arc mapped first. Each episode designed before
the shoot. The founder set up to film alone, wherever they are.

The edit comes last — it always comes last. No edit rescues a story that was
never designed.
