@chilternrailway@GarrettSim57372@chilternrailway I have noticed that the overcrowding is particularly bad when you have Wembley events. Are carriages being removed from your regular schedule to prioritise the additional revenue opportunities?
@LouHaigh I’m so disappointed. How is it holding operating companies to account? Passengers experience the reality of poor performance daily! As Wes is doing with Hospitals, managers in operating companies should have poor performance related pay penalties.
@chilternrailway@Jose_Whon Thx. But cosmetically extending the life of these trains means the carpets are up to date, but the safety features may not be. How are you ensuring the crashworthiness , fire safety, signalling and control systems, emergency braking etc, are based on more modern technology?
@SeanBut29554401 Please complete the form via the following link: https://t.co/AlVs86WFLQ The team will then be able to look into this for you. They will require picture of tickets used or booking reference number ^SS
@chilternrailway 11.20 from GX to Marylebone today rammed. Standing room only and sweltering. No AC? No windows to open? No seats? And off peak? It's a joke, can I have my money back please.
@chilternrailway This basic refurb does noting to address the real problem of overcrowding. In fact it makes it worst in the immediate term! We need extra capacity not new carpets.
@chilternrailway It’s hard to see how this helps passengers. Any money you have should be spent on increasing capacity not reducing it. Refurbishing 30 year old stock is just putting lipstick on a pig.@LouHaigh
@benwansell @CustomersofCR Once again unbelievable levels of incompetence from Chiltern Railway! This on top of the fact all 6 journeys ive taken with them this week have been running at half the number of advertised carriages = dangerous levels of overcrowding. @gregsmith_uk@CalumMillerLD@SEANLWOODCOCK
In amazing train news I am stuck on the Chiltern line because a train today hit the corpse of a cow that had been hit by a different train two days ago, left by the side of the track, exploded and rolled back onto the track again.
And you thought James Cleverly had a bad day.
@chilternrailway@MattIPv4 So we find out that it’s the same cow that was hit yesterday as it was left by the side of the track! It has since expanded and ended up in the middle of the track, hence the train hit the cow and damaged the train (which chiltern are already short of rolling stock)
@chilternrailway@chilternrailway Network Rail are saying distribution will continue to 9:15 can you confirm this? And what plans are there to get people off the trains. Many were stuck in the same situation yesterday
@chilternrailway#mtmpaul With Labour significantly ahead in the opinion polls, and their commitment to take the railways back into public ownership. What planning are you doing to facilitate this transition and when would Chiltern go into public ownership?
