@Teamgrassroots_ Also, just because a team has the best group of players at that time, if the coach isn't up to scratch, they will stagnate and the rest of the pack will catch up. Parents and players need to find a team where they are happy and developing at a good rate.

@Teamgrassroots_ Whether players/parents are happy at their current team or not, most will be persuaded by the fake academies as they promise trials at real academies. These "elite" teams dangle this carrot In front of them and for most, it's too tempting to turn down.
