@RebuildsRich Wow. Burble burble burble. A Tesla with a lumpy cam. Now you gotta Tesla swap my ‘68 Ford as penance. I’ll help you plant a couple trees, too. Even after watching parts of the build on YouTube, I can’t imagine the fab effort this took. Congrats!
@danielpunkass Thanks! It occcirs to me I might now be on the road to pizza oven. Huh. I might have enough blocks left to make a fire pit at least. So many options now.
@danielpunkass Built a retaining wall this weekend. My first! Now there’s room for a basketball hoop. “Just” some weirdly shaped cement blocks, some sand, a level, and a shovel. New skills most gratifying.
@atpfm there are usually (always, in my experience) little tags on the NYC subway stairs. If you see (e.g.) “NW” on a tag, you’re exiting on the northwest corner of the street intersection. M is Mezzanine.
@openculture I imagine a little red wagon containing a cello case and a folding chair following him everywhere, just in case somebody needs a little more Bach in their day. If you tire, Mr. Ma, I’m sure many would be happy to volunteer for wagon duty.
@TomCrittenden@thedrive@bobbyllew Thanks! So, in short, even a “disposable” (don’t love that term, but it sorta gets the job done) electric is better in this context (to me, surprisingly quickly)
