@SouthernRailUK Is there any reason why your (not) helpful displays cease to show the destination minutes before it leaves? Luckily I shouted out to the platform ‘does anyone know where this train goes?’ Some sober people helped me.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Ah! Thank you for the clarification. Looks like I might have to drive to Horsham else I’ll be late.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK is there any way that the 1537 from CHH can be reinstated? According to the journey planner, it’s stopping at Billingshurst and Horsham, and just missing out CHH. Seems a bit rude to those of us who were hoping to catch it.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Thank you. I should stay at home on Sunday evenings I think.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK here we go again. Can I check your delayed last train to CHH is due to arrive at 2337? I know it’s 16 mins late.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Hello Kieran… CHH not CCH. I’m currently at Gatwick.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK @TLRailUK Thanks for trying; I seem to be bad luck for connections and punctuality this week! Good idea about the Gatwick Express. I’ll do that: it will mean I’m only 10 mins late for my appointment. Thanks for the suggestion.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK @TLRailUK Hello both, any chance you can hold the 1710 train from Three Bridges to Brighton? Until the northbound @SouthernRailUK train arrives? There was plenty of time for my connection. Important with TLR next connection cancelled.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

Okay. This has been a terrible experience. @valenciaairport is extremely disorganised, with a lack of signage, information and long queues (and not the Brexit reason). Worst airport I’ve visited in the last 12 months.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK @networkrail Just wondering what the chances are of a later train leaving London during evenings and heading back on Bognor Line. Theatre/Music often finishes close to 22.30; there’s always a queue looking for taxis at Horsham on later trains. 2235 rather early?

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Fantastic, thanks

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK any chance you can ask Thameslink to hold the 1410 to Brighton until your delayed 1405 arrives at Three Bridges? I’m heading to Balcombe and it’s a 30 minute wait for the next train. This always seems to happen on this route…

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK I ran but it closed the doors just as I arrived. Fingers crossed the driver will respond

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Dear Liv. That’s amazing. Thanks so much.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Thank you so much for holding the train. It worked and we made it. It means I’ll only be 10 minutes later home rather than a whole hour! You have restored my faith in the railway on a Sunday.

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK your 1716 is delayed leaving Victoria. I trust you’ll ask hold the connection to Horsham at Three Bridges rather than making us wait an hour for the next one? (We’ll almost certainly be delayed further on route making the platform change impossible by 1803)

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK Hi Kieran @SouthernRailUK , I ended up taking a taxi

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK your replacement bus has broken down. This will have taken two hours to travel 10 miles

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK The gentleman from the bus company in the hi-vis jacket pointed at a bus in the car park at Horsham station and said ‘that’s the 23 past bus - he’s broken down. Next bus is at 23.47’

[Jonathan Lee @jonmarklee]

@SouthernRailUK 2323 from Horsham to Christs Hospital
