@northumbriana @AmnestyBooksNE 21 hanged on the Town Moor in 1649. There were numerous acts to surpress the mosstroopers at various times throughout the 17th century. John Scott was hanged at Morpeth for lifting sheep off Simon Dodd at Elsdon in 1801!
