What do hypochondriacs, Mountain Dew, parachutes, the Plague, and nuclear fission have in common?
It's the latest "One" Thing Wednesday.
Use this week's version, to procrastinate writing up performance reviews that are biased by the recency.

I'm curious...
At my peak, I had more than 10k followers, but I'm guessing just a fraction of those are still participating on Twitter/X and even less will see this post.
I'll report back on the analytics of this post and what 9k+ followers really gets you these days.
@imbktan I'm with you. Anyone who says these tools (especially for mildly complex use cases) are no-code isn't telling the full story. At the end of the day, you still need to understand APIs and data structure (arrays and objects).
The Scale of (In)Flexibility
Are you steadfast or resolute or are you stubborn or obstinate?
Understanding exactly how and how strongly someone holds their belief will help you know how to approach them

Two universal truths...Everyone has a CRM system and everyone hates using their CRM system.
My company makes custom CRM interfaces so what would have taken 10 clicks and 5 screens in @HubSpot now takes one click.
Quick demo.

Will the results of this work/research/test change the company’s strategy or tactics?
That's a question not enough companies ask themselves and it leads to a massive amount of waste and poor decisions.

Need some help!
I'm working on a demo video of a custom interface that makes using Hubspot a million times simpler for sales teams.
I need someone in my network to let me use their Linkedin and company name in my demo video (to make it show how it looks in real life). You don't have to do anything except give me via DM your work email.
And your profile and company will show up in my video.
That's it. Can I get a few volunteers?
No One Cares About Your PR "Disaster."
You might read about giant PR nightmares in the news from time to time, but the reality is that no one cares about your company, brand, or platform.
It's why you have to spend millions to get the attention of people.

Cynical, but realistic take:
All your clients care about is getting a promotion.
If you aren't selling in projects that help them achieve this goal, you're going to fail.
When you meant to type "aspect" for aspect ratio and @midjourney thinks you meant AR (as in AR-15).
Couldn't figure out for the life of me why it insisted on putting an assault rifle in every image.
I love when your competitors publicly lie about their numbers and then they leak the real numbers accidentally.
So, chill out. Your competitors are lying. Do your thing.

When private companies throw out their "numbers" to brag about how well they're doing, it's always been bullshit in my experience.
So, chill out. Don't change anything. Your competitors are lying and you'll eventually get the real numbers.

Easily my new favorite twitter account @soren_iverson. Maybe enough, but not quite the first I’d pay for if only to get more gems like dueling someone for the last seat on a flight. Seriously. https://t.co/EQsoLOWzqc
