🇬🇭Chilling footage from Sandema in the Upper East Region of Ghana shows the town submerged after heavy rainfall today.

Large parts of the community are underwater, making normal movement very difficult for residents.

The flooding has also caused major disruption to transport, as the main road linking Sandema to Navrongo has been cut off. Vehicles are unable to pass, leaving commuters stranded and the area partially isolated.
