This scene from A River Runs Through It always hits hard.
A beautiful reminder that life moves fast, and we must cherish the people we love while they are here.
Taking a few days off X to be fully present.
See you all soon.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! California Gov. Gavin Newsom just signed the Stop Nick Shirley Act into LAW, which was pushed by the CA AG’s wife to punish journalists that confront fraudsters and immigrant centers
He’s not even hiding it.
Journalists could face FINES and PRISON for exposing the fraud…this needs to go to court ASAP!
SHIRLEY EXPOSED IT: "Very interesting connections with her husband being the Attorney General of California!”
“Their goal as a family should be to prosecute and take care and make sure that there is so little fraud in the state that they can have such a peaceful night of sleep!"
"However, while the Attorney General is supposed to be prosecuting fraud, his wife is creating laws to let fraud continue!" 🤯
"They're specifically saying that NGOs who receive money based off immigrant services don't have to disclose their money."
@nickshirleyy won’t be stopped!
Cowboys OL Shiyazh Pete embraces a faction of the Navajo faithful that made the trip to Phoenix here tonight.
He represents his people as the first NFL player of Navajo heritage, but for him, he hopes to represents much more:
“I hope I represent hope and courage.”
Will Ferrell's "Old Prospector" sketch on SNL was taped during dress rehearsal but didn't make to air because the cast kept laughing so much it made the sketch run way too long for the live show. Watch Chris Kattan especially barely keep it together 😂
At around 4:30 a.m. on October 1, 2019, Collier County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Pounds spotted a car speeding along Airport-Pulling Road near Naples, Florida.
It was traveling 63 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Pounds pulled the car over expecting a routine traffic stop. But as he approached, the driver urgently explained why he had been speeding.
His wife was in labor.
And they weren’t going to make it to the hospital.
The baby was already coming.
Pounds immediately called for paramedics and backup, then rushed to his patrol vehicle for gloves and a blanket. He returned to the car and, with the father beside him, helped the woman deliver her baby girl right there on the roadside.
Afterward, Pounds focused on making sure the newborn was breathing properly.
Then the tiny girl wrapped her hand around his index finger and squeezed.
That little grip reassured him that she was okay.
Paramedics soon arrived, cut the umbilical cord and transported mother and baby to the hospital. Both were reported to be doing well.
Pounds had spent 26 years in law enforcement, but he said he had never experienced anything quite like that traffic stop.
And the reason he pulled them over in the first place?
The father never received the speeding ticket.
At 4:30 that morning, Deputy Pounds had stopped a car for going 18 mph over the limit. He left the roadside having helped welcome a baby girl into the world.
One of the most eloquent explanations of immigration you’ll ever hear.
Milton Friedman had an extraordinary ability to cut through the political bullshit and explain complicated issues with simple economic logic.
Still relevant today. 🎯
All of you film production workers who are upset about this...blame Bonehead Bob Bonta. He is deliberately driving production out of CA. And totally unnecessary. Even Gavin Newsom is against what he's doing. That's how off the reservation he is.
This Cowboys rookie offensive lineman got a standing ovation after a 4th quarter preseason touchdown he blocked for ⬇️
Shiyazh Pete is the first Navajo to ever sign with an NFL team. Saturday night, Navajo nation showed up in Glendale, AZ, for the undrafted rookie out of Kentucky in an overwhelming way

🚨 NEWSOM JUST SIGNED A BILL TO PROTECT THE FRAUD
California Democrats are so terrified of independent journalists exposing their scams that they passed a law nicknamed the “Stop Nick Shirley Act.”
Gavin Newsom just put his name on it.
This isn’t about “safety.”
This is about hiding the people and organizations who’ve been bleeding taxpayers dry while the rest of us pay the bill.
🚨 ELON MUSK'S BOMBSHELL!
He just dropped the phrase that's going to change EVERYTHING:
Starlink will have a single account that covers your home antenna (with Wi-Fi included) AND your cell phone too.
“SpaceX is going to give you high-speed internet DIRECT from the satellite to your phone… no middlemen.”
When this blows up, you'll be able to watch high-definition videos standing in the middle of nowhere, in any corner of the planet.
This isn't “the future” anymore…
It's happening NOW!
Who's ready to say goodbye to dead zones?
So the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” (AB 2624) was PASSED by California Legislature and on its way to Governor Newsoms desk.
Can anybody please tell me how this is legal? You can’t stop somebody from expressing their first amendment rights. Nor can you stop people from wanting to investigate on how OUR TAX DOLLARS are being spent.
This is the government our forefathers warned us about.
Trump isn’t your dictator. California legislators and their governor is.
Pay attention.
This needs to be challenged and honestly our DOJ needs to get involved.
MTV’s Unplugged series was a real test for the musicians of that era.
Sure, you sound huge wired up to stacks of amps with distortion and effects stacked on top of each other.
But can you do it in a small room, up close to the audience, without all the gear to hide behind?
Stripped naked of the electricity.
Just the songs, the voices, and whatever you could pull out of an acoustic guitar and bongos.
The Stone Temple Pilots walked into that room in 1993 and passed the test.
Scott Weiland sat in a rocking chair like he owned the place.
No theatrics, no wall of sound to lean on.
Just the band and the material.
“Plush,” “Creep,” “Wicked Garden,” and the first public airing of “Big Empty.”
It held up. The songs didn’t need the volume to work.
That was the point of the whole series.
Some bands just got quieter.
The ones that mattered found a different kind of power when everything else was taken away.
“Plush”

Caleb Downs, @dallascowboys’ first round pick has always been fascinated by greatness. His father taught him to “Put before your eyes that which you want to be”.
So when he struggled as a sophomore, @calebdowns studied the greats—Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan—not just what they achieved, but the habits and mindset that made them great.
He wasn’t chasing their success. He was chasing the blueprint behind it.
@thepivot training camp tour.
