Having the official PR account highlighting independent outlets like this is such a genuinely cool thing to see and shows that the @MLS realize that they’re only going to grow the game with grassroots efforts.
Prior to the start of the 2026 regular season on Saturday, MLS Communications would like to highlight several of the independent soccer outlets and writers that are providing valuable coverage locally and nationally:
It’s finally here! Our first studio album had been released and we’re so excited to share it with you!
Take a listen and share it with your friends and family and then come tell us what your favorite track is!
Frustrating to be watching a game on Apple TV to then have the Apple Sports app notify me that a goal has been scored over a minute before the goal happens on tv.

Went for a walk with a few friends today and decided to take my camera with me.
It was peaceful, there were thousands of people there, and it did not end after a few minutes.

@Giannoulias@ChicagoBears I picked my wife and her friends up after the concert and it was a massive pain. I agree that having a thriving and busy Soldier Field is good for Chicago, but we need to figure out the parking/transport situation for the stadium - and really, all of the museum campus area.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain my respect for the intelligence & the good will of people who sincerely thought Donald Trump a competent leader who was fit for public office.
It’s pretty sad how apologists imagine there’s some new spiritual awakening taking place & can’t think critically enough to see it’s just right wing authoritarian opportunists exploiting increasingly salient Christian nationalist identity markers.
@LanternSoccer Fairly new fire supporter here (about 2 years). Have initial touches always been an issue with the Fire?
It was one of first things I noticed about the team and it doesn’t seem to have gotten any better since I’ve been following.
My fear with this @ChicagoFire team is that there are some genuine talents in the squad who may have their careers nerfed because as a team, we can’t manage to do absolutely anything on the pitch. #cf97
You know you work in Chicago when you get sent out to get the office an order of Pączki.
After the requisite debate of how to pronounce “Pączki”, of course.
I don’t know what’s more annoying, the fact that Facebook suggested that I would enjoy joining the group called “Dull Men’s Club” or the fact that I actually do enjoy being in the group.
