@Timcast I disagree. She must clearly press charges against herself lest she should think she can take advantage of drunk women.
Serious legal question: can restraining orders be put out against hands?
@BootsanPants@HardRoadTravels@MattWalshBlog I can see your point of view, but we disagree. I’m an American as well as a Christian. While I believe Christian morals are the basis of both Western civilization and jurisprudence, I think the Founding Fathers got it exactly right when they clearly delineated church and state.
@HardRoadTravels@MattWalshBlog My argument is that Christian morality is for Christians not non-believers or atheists.
However other people may feel about the sexual acts committed between Jane Doe and the Cornell 7, they were non-criminal acts committed between consenting adults. Separate church and state.
@Sargon_of_Akkad Try to tell any 15-year-old that he or she is a child and see how that goes.
The accused is an adolescent not a child. In France, he cannot be tried as an adult, but at the age of 15, he can be tried on criminal charges as a minor.
Anyone calling him a child is wrong.
@shoe0nhead What NY is really trying to say is women cannot consent after 1 drink.
Men, under the protection of the patriarchy, have full decision-making capabilities and legal liabilities even after snorting vitamin K off of a woman’s body.
Women should get themselves some ma patriarchy.
@SydneyLWatson Fighting racism is just like fighting global warming.
Getting involved in incredibly complex systems and believing you can positively influence outcomes on a global scale is absolute folly.
@GadSaad Be fair. The cognitive dissonance would probably blow their eardrums out if they allowed themselves to recognize that their internalized platitudes are completely contradictory.
More plainly, no believer wants to admit they’ve been worshipping false gods.
@BlaireWhite@YouTube Dear Elliot Page: Put a shirt on, you freak-show.
Be trans, whatever, but forcing people to look at your body just so you can feel better about yourself is still indecent exposure.
@peterboghossian Honestly, it’s too early for conversations like this. Have a fair trial first.
Then, if found guilty in a fair trial, they can decide the punishment based on whether the offender is native-born or not.
Countries have an obligation to try to reform their citizens but not others.
@MrWinMarshall Agreed. Antagonising native Europeans is a bad practice.
I wonder if these antagonists understand the Pandora’s Box that they are forcing open with their behaviors.
@TheBabylonBee This is a Rosa Parks I can get behind. Mainly, because I wasn’t alive when the first one was hogging the seats intended for the elderly and disabled.
I thought she had a valid claim to the seat until I realized she was only 42 at the time of her protest. 42 was the new 56.
@peterboghossian What terrifies me is the knowledge of what the masses are capable of in large numbers when rage takes their collective reason. Multiply that rage by the factor of years having been lied to.
What will have made it all so tragic is the fact that bloodshed could have been avoided.
@OliLondonTV Greta… environment grift, Palestine grift, migrant grift…
What is the opposite of Midas touch?
Thanks for getting involved in the migrant issue. Every time I end up on the opposite side of the issue as you prior to you joining a cause, your opposition verifies my instincts.
@askaya 1. Taylor Swift never looked that voluptuous or a lot of men would have fewer issues with her.
2. Sydney Sweeney is an angel as far as I’m concerned. Clearly, she’s on a mission from God.
