On Tuesday 9th Sep, Ballymoney Fire Station hosted a service marking the 30th anniversary of EMT Allister Barr & an NIFRS colleague, Robin Neill who lost their lives on duty in 1995.

A poignant evening of tributes, plaque unveilings, prayer & bell ringing. Forever remembered.

Your Belfast Giants recently welcomed the @NIAS999 team to their locker room. 🚑

They trained the players and staff in crucial life-saving techniques, how and why CPR should be performed and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). ❤️‍🩹

The NIAS team will be carrying out demonstrations and answering questions on The Bridge at our home game this Saturday 8 February.

For every minute that passes while a person suffers an out of hospital cardiac arrest without CRP or AED intervention, their chance of survival drops by 10%.
