We must never forget the sacrifice of these two amazing emergency services staff. They went out to work that day and didn't return home, the ultimate sacrifice to try to save others.
On Tuesday 9th Sep, Ballymoney Fire Station hosted a service marking the 30th anniversary of EMT Allister Barr & an NIFRS colleague, Robin Neill who lost their lives on duty in 1995.
A poignant evening of tributes, plaque unveilings, prayer & bell ringing. Forever remembered.
On #EmergencyServicesDay, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all NIAS staff and our colleagues across the Emergency Services, who work tirelessly every day to protect and care for our community. #999Day

Your Belfast Giants recently welcomed the @NIAS999 team to their locker room. 🚑
They trained the players and staff in crucial life-saving techniques, how and why CPR should be performed and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). ❤️🩹
The NIAS team will be carrying out demonstrations and answering questions on The Bridge at our home game this Saturday 8 February.
For every minute that passes while a person suffers an out of hospital cardiac arrest without CRP or AED intervention, their chance of survival drops by 10%.
