@TalkinACCSports@deptulahasrage Clemson’s record is 23-9 in games where Carter welling played. That record is a lot worse if Carter is not playing those games. Carter was very impactful with teams that lack size and athleticism in the frontcourt like Iowa. Iowa simply doesn’t have anyone…
@TalkinACCSports@deptulahasrage Not really…he has been Clemson’s most consistent player all year. Best defensive rebounder. Second leading scorer. Best rim protector. Started shooting tje 3 better towards the end of the season. Iowa has no one that can match up with him.m athletically
@QualkTalk Also, welling’s ability to shoot the 3 is huge for this offense. High low is no where near as effective without the threat of the 3 ball from the top of the key
@QualkTalk Thoughts on their matchup vs Tennessee? Tennessee obviously a more physical team, but I’m getting a feeling Miami has a chance because of their shooting
@Drippy_Tiger69 Often wonder how good this team would have been. Weatherly, Sharpe, and Strider would have been one of the best weekend rotations I have seen at Clemson. Sad covid didn’t allow us to see it.
@BarstoolClemson Clemson controlled the pace of the game. SMU likes to get out and run. Weren’t able to do that which resulted in a slow start. Also, Clemson’s zone offense has came a long way since Georgetown
@deptulahasrage Very encouraged by what I saw tonight from the tigers. The loss stinks, but I am still think this team’s ceiling is higher than many of the experts realize. When foster turns it on, look out…
@deptulahasrage In my opinion, dybansta is the one type of player that Clemson doesn’t have an answer for defensively. We will not see another player like him. Caleb Wilson from UNC has some similarities, but he does not have dybansta’s skill set.
