Had a great chat with a former @ATU_508 Halifax Transit Driver who told me about walking the line in the 1998 Strike where contracting out work was the central issue they spent 30 days on strike for. Hoping for a similar resolution with regards to @atu1587 workers on strike!!

Just like how Primary Care Paramedics make thousands less than their police/fire counterparts, ACOs (paramedic dispatchers) make thousands less than police/fire dispatchers. Top it off with antiquated technology, chronic staffing issues, moving w/ days notice... Not sustainable.
