9. They are doing all this to promote their #CBDC; otherwise, it makes no sense to claim a stablecoin as a security that doesn't even guarantee a return.

10. In the past few years, the big banks have lost a huge chunk of their deposits due to the #crypto boom, and now the #SEC is helping them get back their deposits by going after every single crypto company and exchange.

11. The SEC and government funding have stopped after the #FTX collapse, and they still think that #Binance was the reason behind this collapse, so they are going after it.

13. A few months ago, the SEC said that they don't have sufficient funds to go after crypto companies, so now they are raising funds on their own by cracking down on everything from staking providers to stablecoin issuers.

If you can't find a problem to solve, create one, solve it, and make money.
This is what the #SEC is doing here.

Remember one thing: crypto doesn't need the US; the 🇺🇲US needs crypto.

20 years from now, the US will look back and realise that it made two big mistakes.

1️⃣ Freezing Russian reserves, which undermined confidence in the US dollar.

2️⃣ Going after a technology that was even bigger than the internet.

#SEC sues #Binance & @cz_binance ? What does it mean?
1- it's crystal clear that the sec & current us gov. is attacking the entire industry. Yesterday ripple, Coinbase & kraken, today cz & binance, tomorrow who knows?

2- it's obvious that the embarrassment that current US gov. got because of Sam/FTX scam which was main donator to Biden campaign is also a big factor imo why they want to take revenge of the entire industry

3- I'm not #xrp investor Or Coinbase user or even #bnb fanboy. But as a believer in #bitcoin and #crypto industry, I can only support & FULLY support Binance, CZ and whatever crypto firm against SEC haux

4- keep in mind that till the moment, the US regulators are not providing ANY clear guidelines for our industry. And yet accusing the key players for not following the rules which are not even exist in the 1st place!

5- I am pretty sure Binance will survive this and will come stronger. Same for ripple & Coinbase. And as usual the sec & current dems in office are only bringing more and more embarrassment to themselves.

6- let's keep in mind that in US it's still totally legal to lose your life savings & your entire networth gambling in Vegas but it's still not legal to issue Spot #btc ETF.

7-as per my experience in financial markets. maximum outcome of this is a multi year court or a cash fine to be paid then all is ok.

8- #bitcoin is here to stay. Same goes for the entire $Crypto industry. If you limit the innovation. It will simply move abroad.

Here's a brief history on the global foreign exchange reserves ("forex").

Americans will be surprised to know that 105 years ago, US dollar's share of forex was... ZERO! Nada! Zilch!

This is also a lesson for Europe, which destroyed itself in wars and let the USA become their master.

Until 1918, the #USDollar was nobody. What happened in 1918? Oh, yeah, the end of WW1 after which Europe lay in ruins. Thus, the USD began to rise in prominence.

But the British Pound was still the King.

Then the US stock market crashed in 1929 and the Great Depression began.

Thus, the USD's share in global currency reserves began to decline.

But it reversed remarkably in 1944. Why?

Having learned nothing from WW1, Europeans destroyed themselves once again in WW2. 🙄

Taking advantage of this, the US proposed King Dollar in 1944 at the Bretton Woods Conference.

Meekly, Europe agreed to this submission.

But it took another decade for the dollar to surpass the British Sterling and become the King Dollar.

But nothing lasts forever.

🔹The US is shooting itself in the foot by weaponizing the dollar. Sanctions against Russia and stealing its forex was a fatal mistake.

🔹China has been the world's largest trading nation for many years now. Yuan/RMB will be rising fast -- has already surpassed the Euro in trade invoicing.

🔹and the entire world is embracing #dedollarization

10 years ago today, Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a speech in Kazakhstan and proposed an economic corridor of “new Silk Road.”

No journalists or think tanks in the West understood the transformative nature of what would come to be known as the Belt and Road Initiative (#BRI).

But Xi was planting the seed of a multipolar world and it has grown to be a colossus of 140 member countries and infrastructure projects worth upwards of $4 trillion!

What seemed like a pie-in-the-sky dream became a reality. Now, for example, more than 1000 freight trains link China and Europe every month.

And China has also done amazing work in Africa and Asia during this time.

BRI is about connectivity, trade, cooperation, digital revolution, e-commerce, and a myriad of infrastructure development — railways, highways, bridges, seaports, airports, dams, solar farms, schools, hospitals, you-name-it.

A brilliant and visionary model of growth and peace. This is what the world needs, not perpetual wars and geopolitical power games.
