@kocienda I think it really depends on the company (and its structure) + whether the source of the problem is the individual contributors or the leadership. In many cases, it might make more sense to actually fire senior executives rather than your engineers..

#failure is such a weird concept. When purely professional (vs. personal hardship, etc), it's probably the greatest "proof" of being able to take chances and survive. Can choose to view it as evidence that you have been & will be ok...and try, or let it become crippling fear.
