"Welcome Home, Sacramento.”
In an open letter, Wilton Rancheria Chairman Jesus Tarango announces that Republic FC’s downtown home will be the biggest outdoor professional sports and entertainment venue in the region. The 20,000+ stadium will be the center of a transformative 31-acre project that develops a new neighborhood for Sacramento.
I don’t watch @Kleanisklean much. But his advice on @CrimsonDesert_ was perfect… “Take it slow.” Such a fun, immersive and unique experience. Loving the game so far.
@Motorcitymadcat IF Sac fans did anything against the families, then those people should be punished as harshly as possible. It was crazy watching them attack our players and then go straight to jumping into the crowd - but now they are crying victim. It doesn’t add up to me. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
@Motorcitymadcat Sac supporter here, so obvs take my words with that weight to them, I keep hearing the “Sac fans attacked us” and “we have video.” I’m still waiting for the video of anyone other than El Faro being the instigators. If you watched the match, El Faro started shit whenever theycould
@BenHtafc17@Nick_707_USA@BD123abc@SeanCunningham@SacPolice The Cal Expo Police (a police force that monitors the grounds where we currently play) have a great many issues, from being combative with our fans and supporter groups, to being considered lazy and arrogant. It is unsurprising to me they were slow to intervene.
@BenHtafc17@Nick_707_USA@BD123abc@SeanCunningham@SacPolice It’s very rare that the firearms are used or drawn. While it certainly happens more often than it should… usually batons or tasers are used. During sell out matches, there is usually a fairly large presence, I suspect for a smaller match like this, they were understaffed.
