Balogun was in on goal. He beat the defender and was about to score.
No red card. No penalty. No yellow card. No foul. No review.
The bizarre thing is that Fox Sports showed a replay that began just AFTER the defender let go of the arm. So weird. How could the officials miss this? And how could the TV crew miss it as well? @USMNT
@FearedBuck Michael Kamau of Kenya was impeded by a woman holding a Kenyan flag, and the motorcade directed him the wrong way, allowing American Nathan Martin to catch up and win by 0.01 seconds.
Statement from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about the racist video Trump posted last night:
“This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King. Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”
There's no CEO or university president in America who would keep their job if they posted something like this.
America will one day need to have a reckoning over this era.
I’ve seen people say this video matters because it shows he was killed for revenge — which I think is ridiculous. And I’ve seen people say this shows it means he had it coming — which I also think is ridiculous. Meanwhile, I’m not sure why it’s relevant either way to the events of last Saturday.
@ClayTravis So they knew who he was, and he had a target on his back... Which is exactly where they shot him after they took his gun and had control of his limbs.
Not one of his actions, albeit poor decisions, is a death sentence.
The "he had it coming" defense is sad and gross.
Republicans need to decide which position they actually hold. You can’t argue that people have a legal right to carry a gun anywhere, at any time, and then claim the government is justified in killing someone after they have been disarmed simply because they were previously legally armed.
