@LacrosseNetwork@NDlacrosse Honestly at this level and as # 1 I’d be furious. Just watching a shorty get beat get between your man and the ball head on a swivel and be ready to help. It’s a bit confusing for whose supposed to slide but when a guy is getting to the “barrel” someone’s gotta go
Average time to throw vs the Browns in 2023 was 2.72 seconds.
Average time to throw vs the Steelers in 2023 was 2.79 seconds.
The average duration of a blink is 0.125 seconds. The difference between TTT vs CLE and vs PIT is barely more than half a blink.
The Steelers fans meltdown just keeps getting better. Now they’re claiming pass rush win rate isn’t a real thing. I wonder what forced opposing QBs to get rid of the ball so quickly? Pass rush win rate is why the Browns led the league in 3-and-outs by a large margin.
Question of the day for Steelers fans who are so obsessed with sacks:
Can you sack a QB who doesn’t have the ball?
And let the continuation of waterworks flow!

I’d love to be a browns fan so I can get that “Super Bowl winning” feeling by beating the Steelers at anything while still not doing anything notable as a franchise
How to spot either a casual NFL fan or a complete idiot:
Myles Garrett won:
- Pro Bowl Selection
- 1st Team All-Pro (AP)
- 1st Team All-Pro (NFLPA)
- Defensive Player of the Year (PFWA)
- Defensive Player of the Year (Sporting News)
"I can't believe Garrett won the AP Defensive Player of the Year! He didn't deserve it."
Maybe you missed a thing or two that everyone else saw?

Micah you one of the best gotta lot of respect for you but this is NUTS man. To say “just look at the stats” & not mention the main stat “SACKS” which is the STANDARD of the edge rusher position is crazy. MG a generational player but what else TJ posed to do get 30 Sacks ??
Steelers defensive rankings in 2023
-21st in yards allowed
-21st in yards per carry allowed
-21st in 3rd down conversion
Hard to be crowned DPOY when your defense is bottom half of the league
#Browns DE Myles Garrett was the best player on the leagues number 1 defense
Tyrod Taylor in 2015 with the bills ..
3,600 total yards
24 TD’s
4 total turnovers…
Lamar Jackson’s 2023 MVP Season ….
This is just passing ..
total TD’s - 29
Total turnovers- 13
I’ll save you the reading Myles Garrett is DPOY because of what he could’ve done without getting injured or double teamed or rolled away from or schemed against in general.
Quick stat:
Myles Garrett was double teamed 2x more than T.J. Watt.
Anyone crying that Myles Garrett "disappeared" over the last 6 games of the season is simply full of shit or completely clueless. Here are the advanced metrics that #Steelers fans are so afraid of.
Myles Garrett:
- Pass Rush Win: 28% (PFF)
- Pass Rush Win: 30% (ESPN)
- Double Teamed: 29%
T.J. Watt:
- Pass Rush Win: 17% (PFF)
- Pass Rush Win: 25% (ESPN)
- Double Teamed: 14%
The biggest thing I've seen NO ONE mention is that Myles Garrett played the last 6 games (and the Wild Card) with an injured shoulder. In Week 12 at Denver, Garrett left in a sling after hearing a 'pop' in his shoulder during the game.
For all the crybabies that say sacks are the only stat that counts, that means Myles Garrett had 93% of his sacks in just 63% of his games. That also means, even though his "counting stats" dropped off after the injury, his impact on the defense did not.
Garrett never missed a game. Do you really think a guy averaging 1.3 sacks/game and on pace for 22 just suddenly forgot how to play?
Look at those pass rush numbers. If Garrett had truly "disappeared" for 6/16 games, these season-long numbers wouldn't be possible; they would've bottomed out. Even after the injury, he remained a menace to opposing teams.
Myles Garrett outperformed T.J. Watt in Pass Rush Win % whether you look at PFF or ESPN. He also outperformed Watt in every single category except for Total Pressures and Run Stop %, where they were essentially tied.
Garrett had better numbers despite being double-teamed TWICE as often.
And who was more important to their defense?
Cleveland Browns:
- Record: 11-6
- Overall Defense: 1st
- Passing Defense: 1st
- Rushing Defense: 11th
Pittsburgh Steelers:
- Record: 10-7
- Overall Defense: 21st
- Passing Defense: 17th
- Rushing Defense: 19th
Myles Garrett is the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.
🏆 Earned.
