@virginmedia@shaunabanksxo It doesn’t actually list anything though! You just get stuck in an endless loop of “check your status”…”we can’t work it out so contact us”…”Cora can’t help other than try checking your status”…and back to the beginning again. It’s really not good enough.
@TFSS_yt@WFCTrust@DENSinDacorum@oneymca @NewHopeHQ @WatfordFC Thanks for sleeping out Christopher. It was great chatting to you and well done for your fundraising and awareness raising. All of us at @hyhnews and the other charities are really grateful.
@Donsboy1988@LaurenceCombyne@TheDonsTrust Yeah, not quite the same thing but anyway. So what do you agree or disagree with in the strategy? Which things would you say we should do differently? Or is it you agree with it but you want more detail about how to get there?
@LaurenceCombyne@TheDonsTrust I think the actual substance is way more interesting and important than the process. Championship football for both men’s and women’s teams while remaining a sustainable fan-owned community club is a spot on strategic goal in my view.
@LaurenceCombyne@TheDonsTrust Personally, I’d expect that level of detail to be in the business plan, not the strategy which should be “where do we want to get to and in broad terms how are we going to do that”. I’m very comfortable with the level of detail in the strategy.

The story of Albert Einstein meeting Charlie Chaplin is gold.
So, in 1930, Albert Einstein and his wife Elsa visited the US. It was a mini-tour of the country and Albert was slated to give a lecture at the California Institute of Technology.
While on the trip, the Nobel-winning icon met the head of Universal Studios. Einstein — one of the world’s most famous people — had one request: he wanted to meet Charlie Chaplin.
A meeting was arranged at the Universal Studios lot. And the two became fast friends (including a dinner at Chaplin’s house a few days later).
Not long after this initial hangout, Chaplin invited the famed physicist to the premier of his classic 1931 film “City Lights”.
The photo below is at the film’s premiere. And according to the Nobel Prize Organization, the two icons shared an incredible exchange.
Einstein told Chaplin, “What I most admire about your art is your universality. You don’t say a word yet the world understands you.”
Chaplin replied, “True, But your glory is even greater! The whole world admires you, even though they don’t understand a word of what you say.”
