@shawmakesmagic He’s saying the regime are animals. He’s not writing off the Iranians themselves, because he’s using their death as a justification to call the regime animals.
@WPhillyTurkey@sallywarden@vocalcry The plan he described was to destroy bridges and power plants. But yes, because in the same video he said that if this happened it would set the country back 100 years. So I do believe this what he was referring to.
I didn’t vote for Trump. I’m just explaining what he said.
@WPhillyTurkey@sallywarden@vocalcry It’s a video of him specifying what he means by the threat he made in the post today. Meaning, he’s not going to nuke Iran. He’s going to weaken the infrastructure in an attempt to dismantle the terrorist regime that controls the country.
@Rebell94763137@vocalcry I back Western civilization and Western values, and I back whatever it takes to defend what we have created from Islamic religious zealots who value death over life
@Rebell94763137@vocalcry I'm not sure if your cherry picked account of the facts constitutes and education. Iran has absolutely funded terrorist attacks that have affected the US and its allies.
I'm not arguing that the US has a perfect track record, but yes, between the US and Iran, I'm picking the US
@Rebell94763137@vocalcry Unfortunately that’s simply not a realistic way to view conflict. Believing violence is necessary is not the same as being indifferent to its unavoidable collateral damage. WWII was both necessary and devastating.
@bert_mr33823@vocalcry Conflicts can be both justified, and also used for personal gain. I’d assume all disasters, both natural and man made, will be exploited by people in power
@MyVofPie@vocalcry I have no political affiliations, so I’m not a part of whatever group you are referring to. I’m just explaining the present situation.
@toslap@sallywarden@vocalcry Because they would obviously lack the structure and organizational power to utilize their resources and rebuild their infrastructure. At the very least, they’d benefit greatly from external assistance.
