@regionalbliss It's hard to say really. A few injuries, some players under performing, set piece issues, and lack of adaptation. Would be interesting to see a post mortem review.
@brumby_fan Sure, but the thing is though we've seen how much better they can perform at the start of the season (4 wins vs kiwis). They may lack super stars, but you can make up for it with a high average quality across the pitch. We havent seen that for half a season now.
Brumbies are playing with very little intensity right now compared to the Canes. None of them are firing up. There is little to no chat. If you're going to emulate a German made whitegood, at least be efficient and precise. They cant even do that. #HURvBRU
@RMBee Rob im incredibly sad as besides Trek, it's my fav sci-fi franchise. At the same time, i'm not surprised this happened given the current climate. I'm terrified now that they get a Kurtzman to come in and take it in a new direction. Gero & his team + the fans deserve better.
@BaronDestructo Sad to hear this - it's incredibly frustrating that people who understand what makes a franchise work are constantly having to fight (and lose) to powers that just want to make more money via broader appeal. We thank you & the rest of the team for respecting the franchise/fans.
@bradtravelers Incredibly short sighted by Amazon, but not surprising given the current climate we find ourselves in. Smart, well written content, esp Sci-Fi, is a rarity these days. When mass appeal (for increased revenue/return) is the core strategy for a show, noone wins.
Tell me you don't understand sci-fi fans without telling me @AmazonMGMStudio . They had an amazing team to bridge the past to the present and they decided it wasn't broad enough in appeal. When content and products try to be everything and appeal to everyone, everyone loses.
EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.

@MichaelShanks Sad day for fans. It's clear that the amazon execs dont understand what made Stargate great in the first place. I hope the gate stays buried until people that understand this pick the franchise up.
@brumby_fan He had the best game in a long time tonight. Defense was great, went looking for ball on attack. I think 13 will work just fine for him. He just needs more game time that is not broken up due to injury!!
@Salem27892475 I made no reference to who should have won, nor am i interested in that. Many calls missed for both teams. Doleman hasnt had a game as bad as this in 2026.
