President Zelenskyy held a coordination call with the government, the Minister of Defence and the military, as well as key services: air defense deployment, the response to Russian attacks on hospitals in Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rih, and new logistics solutions.
@ZelenskyyUa: "The biggest challenge is with anti-ballistic capabilities, and the availability of these supplies depends entirely on our partners."
I held a meeting of the Staff. We had detailed reports on our electronic warfare capabilities and on how EW is used to protect our infrastructure. This very component of our defense that allows us to neutralize a significant share of Russian “shaheds”. We set additional tasks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for manufacturers – we are scaling up the approaches that work best.
Defense Intelligence of Ukraine also reported on Russia's technological priorities for this year and next, and on the supplies of critical components and equipment that Russia receives for weapons production to meet them. Based on this, we will prepare new sanctions packages: Defense Intelligence will submit its proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Security and Defense Council. We are also working to synchronize our sanctions accross partners’ jurisdictions.
Today, we also defined the main tasks for supplying Ukrainian forces with long-range drones next year. The key criterion is that we must be able to respond to Russian strikes in kind.
Glory to Ukraine!
We’ve got updated intel on Russia’s preparations for a massive strike. I ask you, please, to take care of yourselves and respond to missile threat alerts. Ukrainian services and our Air Force are ready to respond – as much as our defenses allow. And a lot depends on our partners – every country in the world that has the defensive capabilities we need and can provide them to us. It’s very important that there be the political will to do this – particularly in the United States and in Europe.
For Lindsey 🇺🇸
President Trump signs the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026, authorizing and expanding statutory sanctions, tariffs, and prohibitions on Russia, and extending existing sanctions on Iran.
The U.S. Department of State has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Ukraine for purchase of Air Defense Development Upgrades and related equipment and services. The estimated total cost is $2.68 billion.
It will improve Ukraine’s capability to meet current and future threats by further equipping it to conduct self-defense and regional security missions with a more robust air defense capability.

The cheapest war is the one your enemies can’t afford to start. Make Putin pay. Make Beijing watch.
I will be voting to pass the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act.
It’s long overdue.
Russia is aggressively bombing American companies in Ukraine. This is more reason to tariff the hell out of Putin and his cronies, and put secondary tariffs on those who prop up Russia’s war and war crimes economy.
As US Ambassador to NATO on 9/11, the first to call me to suggest we invoke Article 5 was Canadian Ambassador David Wright. Our allies came to our rescue that terrible day. I’ll call David this morning 25 years later to thank him and our great neighbor Canada once again!
Arrived in Canada.
Canada has been and remains one of our closest partners. We value all the support from Canadians and the decisions that help Ukraine stand strong and protect our people.
Important meetings and agreements are planned that will shape our cooperation and solidify the already strategic level of our relationship for years to come. I will meet with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney. The main focus will be on supporting Ukraine in protecting our skies and preparing for the winter. We will discuss how to strengthen our resilience, support our people, and ensure that Ukraine has the capabilities it needs to defend itself.
The First Lady has a meeting planned with philanthropists who support Ukraine. She will also visit Canadian equivalents of Ukraine’s “Schools of Superheroes.”
Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine.
We paid our respects to King Harald V.
Ukraine will always be grateful to Norway for all its assistance. This support comes not only from the government, but also from the Royal Family and all the people of Norway.
I recall with gratitude our warm meeting with His Majesty and the special attention he paid to Ukraine. He was a monarch who, for over 35 years, embodied Norway – its openness, dignity, and respect for people. Over that time, our bond with Norway has grown especially strong.
We are grateful that Norway has stood with Ukraine all these years. Thank you for the decisions that are helping us protect people and stand firm today.
The Hungarian government has ordered ten diplomats from the Russian Embassy in Budapest to leave the country. They carried out activities in Hungary that are unacceptable for diplomats. We will defend our country’s sovereignty.
Acting on my instructions, on Tuesday the relevant official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Russian ambassador to Hungary that, according to the assessment of the Hungarian authorities, 10 members of the Russian mission had engaged in activities in Hungary that are unacceptable for diplomats under the Vienna Convention. The Hungarian side has therefore called on the individuals in question to leave Hungary. This decision protects Hungary’s security and sovereignty. It does not imply breaking off diplomatic relations with Russia. Hungary intends to continue the necessary dialogue, based on mutual respect and adherence to the rules.
Can I share something with you. As US Ambassador to Canada I met with many senior officers of the US Military and several told me if they were ever stuck in a foxhole under fire and they couldn’t have an American at their side they would undoubtedly want a Canadian at their side defending them. They said to my face there isn’t a better trained combat officer. They said this after serving with them in Afghanistan. Thank you Canada 🇨🇦
We stand in complete solidarity with Germany and all NATO Allies. Under @POTUS’s leadership, our Alliance is growing stronger every day to ensure peace through strength.
À Eindhoven, au cœur de l’écosystème européen des semi-conducteurs, aux côtés de nos champions comme ASML et Mistral, nous bâtissons l’Europe de demain : une Europe qui innove, maîtrise ses technologies et choisit son destin.
The United States stands in solidarity with Germany and all Allies in the face of efforts to cause harm and chaos on NATO territory. We remain committed to NATO’s collective defense and clear-eyed about the need for Allies to increase their capabilities to deter all threats to the Alliance.
Full support to Germany's reaction to the attempted sabotage in Leipzig. Hybrid attacks against Allies are unacceptable and will be met by powerful response. We will not be deterred from protecting freedom and security in Europe. Our support to UKR is unwavering.
Hungary is deeply concerned by the growing number and intensity of Russian hybrid activities on European soil. Recent incidents in Germany demonstrate an increasingly dangerous and reckless pattern of behaviour that poses a serious threat to European security and resilience.
Hungary stands in full solidarity with Germany and is ready to support our partner in countering hybrid threats. In the face of these challenges, strengthening the resilience, unity and collective preparedness of the European Union and NATO is more important than ever.
Unjustified, unprovoked U.S. tariffs are putting pressure on Canadian workers and industries. We’re backing them — with $7.5 billion more in support.
Today, I met with union leaders to discuss our plan to protect jobs and businesses as we build a stronger economy for all.
