@BonafideXP I mean. FromSoft hasn't done anything good in forever. They invented/popularized the soulslike genre basically, and did absolutely nothing to improve upon it. Ignoring feedback and fans for a decade now, the only ones there who do their job are the Art team.

@tyminski_marek atmosphere and setting despite being a cool idea seem to be incredibly poorly handled. Even the whole "guy time travels and is turned into a cat" thing was the most like..convoluted way to get a black guy in a game about 1666 Amsterdam without him being murdered on site

@The0neulost There is one boss, who practically only takes damage from DoTs. One that requires tons of multi hit attacks. One that requires multiple tanks. One that requires buff clears and specific debuffs. And everything else in between. Very good game, just gacha is turn off for me

@The0neulost So.. I dont love playing the game cuz of time constraints.. but King Arthur Legends Rise (albeit a mobile gacha), has some of the best boss design and balance I've seen in a long time. Its a mobile character collector game, yet has boss fights that tactically feel like old JRPGs
