@Headteacherchat Sometimes you need to understand why a person failed to come across, I gave the bad news to an applicant and offered to spend and hour working on Interview technique, he accepted. We ended up hiring him later and he's one of our best teachers.

@tes @SexeysSchool My son started with extended days @SexeysSchool in year 7, in school to 7pm. Completing his homework and having dinner. He has now moved to flexible boarding and is loving it. We miss him, but he's really grown and matured as a person and we get to spoil him on the weekends.
