The real bottleneck was never writing code. It's releasing it, debugging it, & keeping it running well. So when @Honeycombio CTO Charity Majors set a productivity target, she didn't chase 10x. She chose 2x, & built from there.
Everyone's talking about how AI is creating 10x engineers (or 100x engineers).

Code review is broken. Not "needs improvement" broken. Actually broken. And AI code review tools can't save it. We wrote about it and the verification crisis we're currently in. 🧵
I was a huge unit test supporter, but honestly, it's no longer worth it. Agents are superb at writing extremely bad unit tests, and they still look good on paper. We're also shifting slightly to more and more e2e tests at @PlanetScale. Luckily with agents, that shift is also manageable.
You can now test any video, image, or audio input your app uses on real iPhones and iPads in QA Wolf, whether it’s captured live or pulled from the device.
Receipt scanning, barcode reading, song identification, video recording, video calls, uploading from the camera roll—you can test it all.
Here’s a look at @BookCameo using our video injection technology to test their iOS app.
We now support VPN configuration for iOS app testing, so you can test against internal staging environments, validate region-locked content, and use geo-specific APIs on real devices.
VPN sessions are configured per test run and torn down automatically, so there's no lingering state between runs and no manual setup for each run.
