Today, AI faces many of the same arguments. But just as the internet has been used for both good and bad, AI will do likewise. Both are simply tools. Tools have learning curves.
I love how Elder @GerritWGong teaches about AI in his new video.

I bet a lot of people on this platform remember a day when parents and teachers and religious leaders warned against the dangers of the internet. Some swore they'd never use it or allow those they loved to use it. I don't think that worked out too well.
The people of Willamette Valley, Oregon, have blue skies for the dedication of a new house of the Lord. More coming on @the_churchnews following the dedication.
We don't know whether it was smartphones/social-media or edtech that was the bigger contributor to the decline in education outcomes that began in the 2010s. But new revelations show the tricks Meta, Snap, and Tiktok used to lure students during the school day.

The Grand Canyon Lodge Is Gone. What Comes Next?
The Dragon Bravo Fire destroyed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim in 2025. Now, nearly a year later, park staff are walking through the ruins while imagining what a future lodge could become.

"If the New Orleans Saints are just a vehicle for a gambling addiction, a fan can find a team that can do that better. If football itself is the same kind of vehicle, the addict will ultimately find a sport that can serve him more reliably. Eventually, he is no longer a sports fan—he’s an app fan.
"Once a new generation sees the church as being about marketing products or voter mobilization or ethnic tribalization or anything else, people will find both the “I” of individual identity and the “we” of group identity in something other than the gospel of Jesus Christ. Destroying the @InternetArchive's @WayBackMachine would be the equivalent of the burning of the Library of Alexandria - one of the worst losses of knowledge in history.
Media giants are now threatening to do this.
We can't let this happen.
Pass it on.

This applied today to the chicken bakes, the samples, and the gazebo.
It's Saturday. I'm at Costco. Has to happen today, though. Since I'm here, I'm doing some people watching.
Returns today included an office chair from my elementary school 40 years ago, a sled that has been used (but not this year in Utah!), and a 90s computer.
What?
All mankind may be saved because of [Jesus Christ] and His atoning sacrifice.
"All" means, everyone.
If everyone, then anyone.
If anyone, then even one.
And if even one, then even you.
