MPD intervened and LE partners later arrested all occupants, including Lang, on probable cause riot. Both vehicles were impounded. Additional arrests by MPD occurred near City Hall.

A statement from the Minneapolis Police Department: At approx. 11:50 a.m., far-right extremist Jake Lang arrived near Minneapolis City Hall with other people in two vehicles. Both vehicles drove onto the sidewalk in front of City Hall toward a crowd of people gathered there.

Another disturbing trend is that now print journalists must compete with TV journalists, by which I mean: also be very attractive on social media. You shouldn’t have to be attractive to be a reporter!

"She said she saw federal agents arrest a person, dropping them “head first into the sidewalk. I don’t know what sound your head is supposed to make when it hits the cement like that, but we all heard the crack.” She said the person was clearly injured during the arrest."
