Local food lover, keen food grower, passionate believer that the UK could be politically transformed and rejuvenated with a grown up PR electoral system
Quick reminder: in UK elections, the party that wins is often opposed by the majority of voters.
That’s the reality of our electoral system.
Labour had the chance to fix it — their own members overwhelmingly backed electoral reform. They chose not to.
And the real losers?
Us.
Crazy isn't it Jeremy Corbyn's Labour party had an 'antisemitism crisis' and now Zack Polanski's Green Party does.
While Nigel Farage's Reform party, with Nigel Farage and loads of Nazi lovers, doesn't.
It's like it's some kind of scam used against Left Wing parties.
"Concern that pellets clean-up 'could take years'."
Remember those millions of plastic beads dumped onto Camber Sands by Southern Water last November, the stuff that contains any number of heavy metals, lead, arsenic, etc.
What's happened since, CEO gone to jail, any directors being prosecuted?
Of course not. It's the EA who's in charge.

When you see the relentless attacks from other parties on the Greens across the media remember this:
They hate our plan to end Rip Off Britain.
They don't want a wealth tax.
They don't want public ownership & lower bills.
They're trying everything in their power to stop us.
Can someone explain to me how Nigel Farage can accept a 5 million gift; without disclosure or tax; when I couldn't give that to my children if I ever won the lottery?
Questions need answering. Where is our media, msm?
A nun was assaulted in occupied East Jerusalem earlier this week amid growing concern over Israeli attacks against Christians.
The 48-year-old, a researcher at Jerusalem’s French School of Biblical and Archaeological Research, was attacked on Tuesday in front of the Cenacle, a site on Mount Zion regarded as holy by both Christians and Jews.
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which is affiliated with the nun’s research centre, said the attack was “not an isolated incident, but part of a troubling pattern of rising hostility toward the Christian community and its symbols”.
Rachel Millward, "Let's be real. We are the only party in the UK that has a Jewish leader"
"Zach Polanski is one of only five Jewish leaders we've ever had a political party. He personally experiences anti Semitism every single day"
"And I'm proud to stand with a Jewish leader and a Muslim deputy and to, you know, do what we can for unity"
"And that's what we all need to be doing"
"We need to sort of stop playing political football with this and really say, how do we build societies?"
"We need to invest in community cohesion"
"We need to invest in our education systems in the beginning so that people learn how to live together safely across difference"
Rachel Millwall, "What is striking is we are the fifth richest country in the world and yet a third of our children live in poverty"
"Children are hungry in schools, so they cannot learn"
"Our NHS is crumbling, there's a housing crisis. How can this be?"
"We're the fifth richest country in the world"
"It doesn't have to be that way"
"The reason Keir Starmer needs to go is because he is weak, because he lacks vision and because it's a time when we need bold courage and we need to really transform the systems that we have so that ordinary people's lives are made easier, so that bills come so that we stop kowtowing to profit"
"And we have a much fairer, economy"
BREAKING: Man who used to march down the street singing hitler youth songs and go up to his jewish classmates and make the hissing sound of gas chambers realises he can use yesterday's antisemitic attack to score some cheap political points and talk about that two-tier far-right conspiracy bullshit. Classy.
🔥🔥BOOM🔥🔥
This is the moment 100,000 people added their voice to the demand for a referendum on who owns our water.
The government now has to consider it for a parliamentary debate.
Please sign and share the petition. Make it impossible for them to refuse a debate: https://t.co/EDl41I9Uqo
I will take no lectures on Putin from these Labour hypocrites. I said Putin and Trump are both serious threats to Britain. Correct.
Starmer filled the top of his government, Mandelson and Tim Allan, people who made a fortune sucking up to Putin.
Did your water bill go up again today? Of course it did, and no, it's not an April Fools Day.
Time to end the fraud that is the water industry. Time to take our water companies back into public control.
This is where we're at @TomSwarbrick1, can retweet a tweet calling Muslims smelly and quietly unretweet knowing that nothing will happen.
Gary Lineker lost his job because he didn't see a rat emoji in a clip.
Reform spends every day telling voters the system is rigged by wealthy elites.
Then their own MP avoids £600k in tax using the very structures ordinary people can’t access.
That’s not rebellion that’s hypocrisy.
