@hourscreeping41 @CantHitWRISP He’s an extreme fan. A guy who has played 45 games struggles and Perry can’t draft. Just let him have his crazy extreme overreactions
@j_lock14 @CantHitWRISP This is so naive. Arte has done this through 3 very, very different GMs. “The right GM” doesn’t exist; he will
Always do what he wants at the end of the day. 13 years of evidence
In fact, Perry has done more to convince him than any before. Just a silly take.
@CantHitWRISP A 5th starter in the 11th round is incredible value. Even a leverage reliever in the 3rd is good. Draft is such a crap shoot that guys with positive WAR are a quality pick
@CantHitWRISP There is the theory that they are to trade. Except for one. But it actually makes no sense whatsoever. If he was given the $30 million budget and decided to spend every dollar on relievers.
@wilnerhotline SC can either acknowledge their D will hold them back and do something about it, or do nothing and end up in the Peach Bowl. Which Caleb will sit out.
@insidetroy So hard to be a fan of this team sometimes. They are so arrogant. For no reason—they haven’t beaten anyone. And Riley will not fire his buddy when the whole world knows what’s holding them back.
@ChrisBHaynes Why would anyone feel sorry for this dude? He has 3 years left on his contract and tried to force his way to Miami. Nobody feels bad for him.
@reid_ellliot@CantHitWRISP I’m not arguing any of that. Or how bad injuries have affected us the last 4-5 years. I’m only saying the Dodgers have not sustained injuries like we have this year. This was the first year we had true lineup depth. We’re 59-60 without 6 lineup starters.
@reid_ellliot@CantHitWRISP And the Dodgers have not even remotely sustained similar injuries.
Would you rather have Thaiss catch 85 games or Bobby Miller pitch in 15?
Moniak/Renfroe play every since July 3 or Kershaw miss 4 starts?
Neto out 45 games since June 15 or Urias and Gonsolin miss 5-6 start
@CantHitWRISP@curvethat_@reid_ellliot Fair enough. Trout has been a better defender and baserunner and a slightly worse hitter this year. But they are essentially equal.
@CantHitWRISP I agree, it’s amazing. They have 10 good starters. but I do think that an elite lineup overcomes any pitching. I think they are not in 1st if their lineup is affected like ours was.
@CantHitWRISP And their pitching depth is a whole other level. But we thought we’d have a top 8-10 rotation this year. And they’ve been healthy. So who to blame for that regression?
@reid_ellliot@CantHitWRISP Thanks for proving my point. They are our equivalent. But they are healthy and therefore better. Ward is better than Heyward and Trout than Mookie but it’s the equivalency and how it affects the each.
