As the journalist who reported on this case and paid a high price for it, I’ll tell you that Karmelo did not just k*ll an unarmed white kid.

The family started a GiveSendGo, raising over half a million dollars. They did not even pay for bail; a friend of the advocates did. Their advocate threatened the school that he would hold public protests if they did not give Karmelo his diploma, and the school buckled. Karmelo was able to be at home on house arrest and is able to go to the barber and the library. He has been able to spend the holidays with his family, while the family he destroyed has spent the holidays mourning their son. The victim's parents have both been threatened, doxxed, and swatted.

Both the Anthonys and their advocates have lied and targeted me and my family. I have been doxxed. My husband has been doxxed. I have been swatted. I have been targeted with CPS. My children’s lives have been threatened to the point that one Anthony supporter said that he was going to sl*t my child’s throat.

A man who had to be investigated by the FBI and CID is currently sitting in my county jail because he was counting down the days until I gave birth to my child so that he could “end me.” This man was a social media friend of the advocate for the Anthony family.

All because I dared to thoroughly report on a black 17-year-old who stabbed a white 17-year-old at a track meet.

No one knows this case better than me. And I know just how dark and evil these people truly are.

And yes, I am FULLY fatigued.

I want to tell you a story about a “journalist.”

I’m pretty sure the journalist in question was Scott Pelley, but for reasons I am about to explain I can’t be 100% sure—I just know it was a major US TV reporter.

August, 2003.

I was the G-4 of the 82nd Airborne Division. The IED threat had just become a real thing in Iraq and the 82nd—having just returned from Iraq—was sent back to the fight.

The “Division Support Area” was earmarked for a place called al Taqaddum, or “TQ.” I led the advance party to occupy the site (we drove from Kuwait). TQ was a huge area on a high bluff, west of Fallujah, and had a cratered Iraqi Air Force airfield. Later in the war it was a plush site with a PX and restaurants, but when I occupied it, it was nothing but a bunch of abandoned buildings, hulks of old Iraqi fighting vehicles blocking the runway, nightly rocket and mortar attacks, and constant probing of the huge perimeter by insurgents.

The IED threat was happening because insurgents were pulling artillery rounds out of abandoned Iraqi army ammunition supply points and turning them into roadside bombs.

We had been on TQ about one full day when the front gate called me on the radio: “All American 4, we have some TV reporters here, they want to come in, what should I do, over?”

After telling the gate to check IDs and do a sweep of their vehicle, I said: “Send them to me, over.”

A few minutes later an armored Mercedes pulls up to our TOC. The “talent” is in the very back where I could barely see him, but I’m pretty sure it was Scott Pelley. (Pelley was definitely in Iraq at the time, I checked.)

His producer gets out from the air-conditioned Mercedes plushness and pulls out a map. He arrogantly points to an Iraqi ammo supply point between TQ and Ramadi and demands: “I need you to escort us to this location.”

(They wanted to do a story with reporter speaking against a backdrop of an ammo supply point, because that’s where the IEDs were coming from.)

“NEED? I’m sorry sir, that site is not secured and I am not putting my paratroopers at risk for your story.”

Big disappointment and head shaking. I’m thinking: “The NERVE of this guy. Does he think I work for him?”

He then asks: “Well what will happen if we go by ourselves?”

My response: “You’ll probably die.”

(Important background: TQ also had a giant Iraqi ammo supply point that was inside the wire but we had not cleared it yet—it could have been booby-trapped, we just did not know at the time.)

He points at the map again: “Well how about the ammunition right here? We can just drive over there, right?”

“No sir, you cannot. We have not cleared that site.”

By this time he was visibly angry, he had a chat with the talent in the back, and then they all got back in and left without even saying thank you or good bye.

(Important point: the ammo on TQ he wanted to use as a backdrop for his “story" was SECURED from Iraqis grabbing any of it, yet they wanted to use that as a backdrop for a story on Iraqis grabbing ammo.)

The point of this story is this: those “journalists” were incredibly arrogant, incredibly dismissive of anyone in uniform with dirty boots, and basically oozed a sense of entitlement as if they were on some sort of noble mission, when in reality their mission was to smear the effectiveness of our operations because Bushitler.

When you hear Scott Pelley talk, oozing with arrogance over his “combat” experience, remember that he is of a breed that all think and act alike. To those "journalists," we were not American fighting men and women in combat. No, we were there for their convenience. It sickened me, and still does.

Let's expose what you're really doing with "reconciliation."

You announced it yesterday, eleven months after the House passed the SAVE America Act. You're not trying to pass this bill. You're trying to kill it in a way you can blame on process.

Here's how we know:

Reconciliation requires the Senate parliamentarian to rule that provisions are "budgetary." Citizenship verification is not budgetary. Photo ID mandates are not budgetary. The parliamentarian will gut the bill. Then you'll shrug and say "we tried." We see through you.

Meanwhile, you WON'T use the tools that actually work:

Rule XIX limits each senator to two speeches per legislative day. Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill.

Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results.

Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess.

Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate.

You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months.

Now let's talk donors:

• Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user
• Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify
• Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration
• Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants

Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Their reporter then telegraphs to the audience the SAVE Act "will ultimately fail."

Corporate money flows to you AND to the outlet that frames your inaction as inevitable.

We see the loop.

You called grassroots anger a "paid influencer ecosystem." YOU are the paid influencer. You take the wrong side of a 80% issue because you are indistinguishable from a K Street mouthpiece, and an ineffective one to boot who won't bend the rules to get anything passed.

What we want:

1. Force a real talking filibuster.
2. Stop hiding behind process.
3. Pass the SAVE America Act.

YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents.

You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time.

Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.

I am a huge Data Republican (small r) (“DR”) fan. I know many of you are as well.

But I’m not sure everyone fully understands the sheer bravery, brilliance and audacity of this deaf every-woman.

You see, the government you elect is not what actually governs you.

For every area of government (no matter how specialized or arcane), there are powerful lobbying groups, think-tanks, non-governmental organizations ("NGOs"), specialized media outlets, university-sponsored centers and other ostensibly "independent" organizations that act and behave as an unaccountable form of government outside the reaches of the electoral process. While these organizations claim to act in the public interest, each and everyone of them is a self-serving oligarchy that is designed solely to promote the interests of those on the inside--genuine public interest be damned.

This is America of course, and freedom of speech and freedom of association are fundamental to our freedoms. However, over many decades, these organizations have found “legal” ways to obtain trillions of your taxpayer dollars in the form of “grants” for “studies,” “policy symposiums” and all manner of other taxpayer-funded activities designed specifically to circumvent the policies the American people VOTED FOR and to perpetuate policies and activities that the average American has explicitly rejected.

These activities occur on both the Left and the Right, of course, but over time they have become the near exclusive domain of the Left. These organizations serve as taxpayer/Soros-funded, income-generating activities for Leftists whenever they are out of power, and if/when Leftists seize control of the Presidency or Congress, these organizations are the proverbial bullpens from which powerful Leftists full of the ideas you thought you once eliminated can storm right back into the actual process of governance, implementing all of those dark and mysterious policies that your tax dollars were secretly funding while the Leftists were otherwise off howling in the wilderness.

Call it the Deep State. Call it unconstitutional. Call it theft of your hard-earned taxpayer dollars. Call it the evil of the Soros family. Call it what ever you will, but know this—it is a monstrous Leviathan sitting right outside the scope of your votes, dedicated to negating your votes at your own expense, in the most diabolical manner possible.

It is the state outside the state. It is self-serving. It does not care about you. It only cares about itself. And its power is VAST.

You see it right here on X—you see the swarms of fire ants that come spilling out with destruction in mind whenever anyone uncovers the anthill they are lurking under.

And right at the heart of that is our hero, DR.

I have been actively following politics virtually my entire life, and never before has there been anyone quite like DR. Through dispassionate data analysis, the smart use of AI and a relentless drive for fairness and justice, DR has done more to shine a light on the nature of this extra-governmental Leviathan than any other person I can ever recall.

For her efforts, she has been doxxed by a mendacious Rolling Stone article. She has endured a concerted effort to destroy her husband’s totally unrelated business. She and her husband have received LITERALLY THOUSANDS of death threats. She and her family had to go into hiding.

An ordinary woman would have backed down in fear.

But not DR. They just made her mad. And an angry genius is an enemy no one wants to face. She still stares them down, day in and day out.

Her book will be out soon. Buy it. Buy copies for your friends. Buy copies and leave them on street corners and airport tables. AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH. DR’s book may well end up being the most important and influential American book on politics since “Common Sense."

If America is going to survive, we must ALL shine a bright light on this extra-governmental Leviathan, grab a hold of its fangs, and drain the venom out of them.

This is not playtime people. This is life and death. We glorify the warrior who does great deeds on the battlefield, as we should. But know that bravery comes in many forms, and as DR has stood in the fire and endured real threats to her life and existence, her audacious bravery is every bit as real as those heroes we see being decorated by the President.

Right now, in the USA, no unelected person is doing more to ensure freedom than Data Republican. You can support her by subscribing to her account, but you can also support her by being as brave as she is.

I aspire to maybe show such bravery myself some day. We all should aspire to that.

One day she will earn the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Together we can defeat The Beast.
