flight attendant, tells us our route and what to expect on our flight, and finally gives a shoutout to his much younger first officer. I look around and everyone’s smiling. All flights should start like this. The kind of experience that’ll make me choose Delta next time. A+
Everyone complains about flying but I just had a 10/10 @Delta flight. DL0740 JFK to SEA, pilot named John comes out and addresses us before we take off. Apologizes and explains why the inbound plane was late, thanks us for our business, names off and gives kudos to each…
This is what the first week of your 3-day in-office mandate looked like @AnitaAnandMP🤢 Forcing workers into these ill-equipped, unsafe offices is not the way forward. Embracing a new future of work for the well-being of all Canadians is. #RemoteWorks
Yeah Mark, what a waste. You hate to see a downtown mom safely teaching her toddler how to bike, when a car commuter could be saving valuable seconds. #ottbike#ottawa
New data shows that very few cyclists and pedestrians are using Queen Elizabeth Driveway when it's closed to cars. Watch this video as a great example. When I recorded it yesterday afternoon, not a single pedestrian or cyclist passed me for the entire two and a half minutes. Lorsque je l'ai enregistrée hier après-midi, pas un seul piéton ou cycliste ne m'a dépassé pendant les deux minutes et demie.
I always loved this show. It seemed so controversial in its time but now it feels campy and nostalgic.
As Jerry used to say, take care of yourselves, and each other.

Maps twist our perception of the world
Here are 20 to rethink it:
1. Countries closer to the equator (~poorer) seem smaller than they are

L: Terry Fox after dipping his leg into the Atlantic Ocean to begin the Marathon of Hope on April 12, 1980.
R: The bronze statue that is now at that spot as part of the Mile 0 memorial. The statue was dedicated on April 12, 2012.
10:50 am. Wednesday. Well this is a first for me, and I’m old. Temp is -3° in Ottawa. Thunder and pouring freezing rain. 🤔 #ottnews#ONStorm#ottweather#ONwx
My favourite part of Ottawa is that bakery where Barack Obama came in one time and was like "I guess I'll get a cookie" and the entire place is now a permanent shrine to that 90-second encounter.
Every time I eat Subway I'm overcome by a feeling of deep personal disappointment... 'You could have found a better sandwich. Why do you keep coming here?'
From Saturday February 18th to Monday February 20th, you’ll be able to fish for free without a license!

@HansontheBike Any idea whether this will include cleaning up that hellish triangular intersection at Bronson and Albert/Slater? I can’t count the number of pedestrians I’ve seen almost get struck by cars there.
@LEBassett It’s one of those movies (films) where the score fits the cinematography and dialogue perfectly. I think that’s a big part of it. I’m 4x and still loving it.
@ArielTroster Traffic calming (cameras, speed bumps, crosswalks) along Lyon St, from Laurier down to Somerset. That part of the ward is residential and filled with children, the elderly and people in wheelchairs. I see cars whipping along there at 80 km/h every day. It’s extremely dangerous.
I love New Year’s Day because it’s that one day you can be completely and utterly useless guilt-free. So far today we’ve ordered McDonald’s and watched five episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean season 2. Now we’ve paused to debate where to order Chinese food for dinner.
