Interview with Ran Takahashi after the USA match:

-It was a wonderful match in which both teams showed all their strength. Looking back on the match, what are your impressions?

Ran:Personally, I feel above all that I wasn't up to par. That's the aspect I regret the most. I think there were several moments where I could have done better, and even in the final tie-break, we weren't able to win the decisive points. That's why I think today's match shows we still have room for improvement. At the same time, it made me realize how much stronger we can still become.
Tomorrow, however, we face the third-place match, so I want to move on and focus on that. Naturally, we'll analyze today's match carefully, trying to turn what we learned into our strengths.

-Against the United States, one of the key aspects was being able to withstand the power of their serve. How do you evaluate this aspect?

Ran: There were moments when we managed to hold on, but especially in the first and fourth sets, we often found ourselves chasing our opponents and couldn't hold on until the end. Even the last point came with an ace. That's where our inexperience showed. We need to keep practicing to turn this into a strength.

Ran Takahashi in the interview post match again Usa, spoke about the seven consecutive victories:

"For me, more than focusing on the winning streak, I really think it's about winning every single match. Just because we beat America doesn't mean we're strong, and I think we need to use this victory as a strength. I think tomorrow's match against France will be another tough challenge, but I believe winning tomorrow will make today's victory meaningful, so we'll do our best to get stronger in every single match."

" I think the positive point of today's match, was that it was a very difficult match and we managed to take it to the deciding set. And beating the United States so decisively demonstrated our strength and gave us confidence, so I think beating the United States so decisively was an important match that will contribute to our growth. 🎙: - Powiem tak: to było nasze trzecie podejście do Takahashiego. Pierwsze miało miejsce jeszcze zanim trafił do ligi włoskiej, kiedy studiował. Rozmawialiśmy o trzymiesięcznym kontrakcie, aby wykorzystać przerwę zimową, która jest na studiach w Japonii. Wtedy to się nie udało. Drugie podejście było wtedy, kiedy widzieliśmy, że kończy mu się umowa we Włoszech. Wtedy jednak zdecydował się na bajeczny kontrakt w Japonii.

🎙: - Chyba nie odkryję niczego nowego - wydaje mi się, że Wilfredo, zarówno u nas w klubie, jak i w całej PlusLidze, ma najwyższy kontrakt. Jeśli chodzi o Rana, to jego kontrakt może wydawać się wysoki z uwagi na to, jak wysoki kontrakt miał w Japonii. Tam był jednak twarzą ligi i zespołu Suntory (...) Oczywiście, kontrakt Takahashiego nie jest niski, ale nie są to sumy zbliżone do tych, które miał w Japonii.
