i know for a fact mother mingwa has in store the most delicious disgusting sweet side stories ever known in manhwa history, i have 0 patience but i will wait for them
#jinxmanhwa#징크스
If there’s a time skip-maybe it’ll be like PearlBoy? (I HOPE)
Where the side stories cover what happened be4 n after the end
Bc tbh I won’t be satisfied if they skip the start of their relationship n that shy, awkward energy, Joo tryin his best to be better
++
it really just started to sink in that jinx is over 🥹 as i was reading and seeing them like that, we've come so far. LET ME SEE THEM HAPPYYYYY AND LAUGHING TOGETHER
Jinx is finally finished! Kinda wish we got to see more of those 2 months when they finally became a couple :'K. But after all, this kinda makes sense.. farewell jinx.. thankyou mingwa for this story
Them chatting as a couple PFTTTT I can see Jaekyung as a VERY CHALANT BF for his gorgeous man. Texting 24/7 and only stopping when KD tells him to focus on practice.

Reading Boyseason’s Q&A answer about Zhena's thoughts during/after their argument in Volume 5's side stories adds an entirely new layer of emotion for me. Oh. my. God.
When I first read this scene in the novel from Taekjoo's pov, I was already overwhelmed with mixed emotions. Even without direct access to Zhenya's inner thoughts, bec i could still feel his silent anger and hurt through Taekjoo's narration alone.
Zhenya is unsually silent, he didnt even move, or lash out, didnt even push Taekjoo to continue their confrontation. He remains silent and expressionless, even when Taekjoo slept beside him, which only makes it more obvious that he is hurt 😭
But thw author's qna reveals the emotional chaos hidden beneath that calm exterior bec internally, he is already spiraling thru anger, hurt, insecurity, and self-doubt.
Likeee imagine Zhenya?!?!?! The ever confident Zhenya?!?@?!? Having self-doubts? The same man who always appears composed and in contril??
Yet here he is wondering whether he should leave Taekjoo for good after being treated that way. One moment he is considering destroying the NIS. And then next, he immediately restrains himself because he knows that if he crosses that line, Taekjoo might leave and hate him forever.
That thought alone says everything. It really shows how deeply Taekjoo affects him.
For perhaps this is the first time, Zhenya fully realizes that Taekjoo's feelings are the one thing he cannot control. Bec he cannot buy Taekjoo's love or threaten him into staying. And he knows he cannot destroy whatever that competes for Taekjoo's attention.
He kept questioning himself what he did wrong and how much he should compromise.?? Circling thru those questions and still couldnt find the answer is genuinely heartbreaking.
These are the questions and thoughts of someone who desperately wants to be loved but does not know the correct way to maintain that love.
But what makes this scene even more moving is that "shameless" act of Taekjoo resolves all of Zhenya's fear. With that one simple act: he came back.
Even without formal and verbal apology, Taekjoo just simply returns and crawls into bed beside him.
For someone like Taekjoo, whose feelings are often expressed more thru actions than words, that gesture says everything(even if he doesnt even know it himself) means "I'm here. I still choose you."
And perhaps, for Zhenya that was more than enough.
Bec Taekjoo comes back of his own free will. Zhenya does not force him. He does not chase after him. Taekjoo returns because he wants to.
That voluntary choice means more to Zhenya than any verbal reassurance ever could.
Boyseason's description that all of Zhenya's worries "melted away like snow" perfectly captures what he truly wants, a simple confirmation that Taekjoo still chooses him.
Because the moment he receives that reassurance, all of his anger, resentment, and fear disappear almost instantly.
And then now he laughs at himself because he realizes, once again, just how soft he is when it comes to Taekjoo.
Zhenya becomes painfully aware of how completely his emotional state depends on him. He recognizes his own helplessness and is almost embarrassed by how easily Taekjoo can undo him.
And honestly, that realization of him makes this scene hurt even more for me 🥹
And the way he asks Taekjoo if he's done sleeping, as if simply acknowledging that he has been waiting 🥹🥹🥹 then kisses and holds him gently than ever 🥹🥹🥹 and Taekjoo kisses him back with a desperation that says everything he can't put into words.
And I think that desperation carries all the guilt he's been holding onto, the longing he felt even while they were apart, the exhaustion from his mission, and the overwhelming relief of finding that Zhenya is still there, still willing to take him back without demanding a single explanation first. 🥹
