They use “violent media targeting minors” as the reason for the reports, and this causes accounts to be suspended even when no rules have been broken.
I confirmed this directly in the comments on the site where they are active. Because they act as a group, suspensions happen even more easily.
This abuse of X’s reporting system to harass innocent users has been going on since February and is still continuing.
The accounts of the people I follow keep getting suspended, and even when they make new accounts, those get reported and suspended again.
The people I follow put their accounts on private every early morning because they’re afraid of getting suspended — but even when they go private, they still get suspended.
From the victims’ side, there is nothing we can do to respond—we can only just take the hits.

Just now, 7 people were suspended at the same time.
We were not suspended because we were flagged as bots. We were suspended because of coordinated mass reports.

I’m asking for the bare minimum measures to be put in place so that it can’t be abused.
The practice of abusing the report system to harass innocent users has been going on for almost 7 months now.
If the Safety team can’t resolve this, then where exactly can this problem be solved…?
And if it’s truly a problem that even the Safety team cannot handle, please just tell me so. I don’t want to keep bothering the operators either.

Since February of this year, people from anonymous sites have been carrying out organized mass reports against specific accounts.
Regardless of the actual content, they are coordinating group reports on every tweet under the reason of “violent media targeting minors.” I confirmed this directly in the comments on that site.
It seems the AI system makes suspensions easier, and because they report in groups, accounts get suspended more readily.
I have already sent the evidence and a more detailed explanation via DM.
The people I follow have not violated any rules, yet they keep getting suspended repeatedly because of these organized false reports. This has already been going on for six months and is extremely distressing.
I’m truly sorry for bringing this up again, but I hope you can understand why I feel I have no choice but to go this far.
Please take some time for the innocent X users who are being harmed by these malicious attacks.
I desperately need help from an X staff member—from you.
