@DuncanHenry78@GoodLawProject So should that also apply to gay rights ? Because the thing in your brain that tells you that you’re gay is the same thing that tells a trans person that they are not the gender that they were born in to. Fkin hypocrite, Just you wait, the gay community will be next!
My prediction is this: There are way too many big figures and institutions now implicated by the cruel existence being enforced on trans people. Like something from the 50s.
Really terrible things will happen. Beatings, rapes and yes, murders. Including to c!s women SUSPECTED of being trans. Hate crime will rocket to such a level they’ll either stop counting trans incidents, or redefine what counts. Suicides will increase even further - horror stories will emerge on socials of Wes Streeting’s conversion therapy, but mainstream media will ignore - as they endorsed it. Bullying at schools will be fatal for some. Trans women prisoners face either certain rape or murder. Because even those with female anatomy under Labour now go to the male estate. A trans woman will be jailed for kissing a straight guy and not telling him that she’s trans. She gets logged as a sexual predator. Again, an actual new law under Labour. This is not fiction. Throughout all of this, Labour will refuse to accept it’s happening or bear any responsibility. Eventually, they’ll run a story that fewer people are transitioning - spinning it that this proves trans is a fad, and that ‘exploratory therapy’ - the rebrand - works, with most people growing out of it. Just as the Horizon Computer worked for the Post Office. The real reason will be that trans people are now terrified of going anywhere near a hostile NHS and are turning elsewhere, because the NHS is now solely geared to ‘curing’ trans people by forcing them to go through puberties they don’t want, making their bodies change in ways that make them easy targets for the likes of vicious JKR and her bullies. Obviously this will impact trans mental health. But the Gov and NHS will attribute this purely to them being trans.
There’ll also be a boom in trans obtaining blockers/hrt on the black market - with Wes’s NHS telling GPs to stop giving trans patients blood tests and their regular prescription. Post op trans women will see their bones gradually crumble, due to having no hormones. If they go to the NHS though, they’ll be put on a mens ward, and treated as a man.
Transphobia itself will become completely normalised at social occasions and in the workplace. If a work colleague tries to protect a trans colleague from taunts, they will be warned to stop by HR - because Gender Critical is protected, and the business could get sued.
Firms will stop hiring trans people completely. Too much risk. Too much hassle.
Many trans will turn to sex work. Only option. When they are prosecuted by the courts, they’ll be logged as trans sex crimes, and at the end of the year, media will receive a report with annual figures.
Eventually, trans will start to be seen by the majority as socially unacceptable and a nuisance. Attacks and exclusion will increase even further. This will also bleed into the gay community. Finally, something truly horrific will happen. Which can’t be ignored. There will be an inquiry, and all the rottenness will come out. The BBC will run a retrospective documentary saying how could this have happened? Ignoring their own role in it. Lord Wes and a few others will be called before an inquiry. They’ll blame others. And eventually, trans rights will be restored. Either via the Euro Court of Human Rights, or through a UK Government being shamed into it. Sadly all way too late for many. @wesstreeting@bphillipsonMP@AngelaRayner@YvetteCooperMP@EmilyThornberry@UKLabour #BookmarkTransPrediction
@JeremyVineOn5@michaeljswalker@linmeitalks@StormHuntley No absolutely not. Harry is not ‘just a celebrity’ He is still a member of the Royal family, he’s the Kings son for goodness sake. I don’t think Meghan would’ve said any such thing it’s just more media hype, it’s what caused all the hate in the first place. Stop the negativity!
@GMB@LouisaJamesITV An unpopular opinion I’m sure but maybe stop blaming the government for having had children you couldn’t afford. We should keep the cap imho.
@mycroftsgirl@thismorning If you’d actually seen the documentary Derek says himself that he wanted to be heard. @kategarraway hasn’t done this for her own gratification, she’s highlighting the massive flaws in the care system which desperately need addressing! It’s Derek’s legacy.
@LyndaWatty@benshephard@thismorning@catdeeley She doesn’t have the money, that is the point, she admits she’s on a good salary, it wasn’t enough, she’s £80,000 in debt because her salary didn’t cover Derek’s care costs as well as keeping the roof over her children’s heads!
@pearlsgirl73@Aldworth33@GMB@kategarraway She’s £80,000 in debt because her ‘well paid job’ didn’t cover Derek’s care costs. Try educating yourself on the facts before commenting and learn to have some compassion for others!
