setting aside their personal relationship, why is idol factory so freaking messy. you pay your artist separately, it's common sense. even if they're boyfriends or whatever, why would you pay one artist and expect them to split it into two for the other artist's share

Billy and Babe have spoken publicly about payment issues related to an event, as well as the conflicting feelings that arose afterward.

Babe reportedly did not receive any payment, while Billy kept 50% of the money and Idol Factory retained the other 50%.

Babe filed a formal complaint and said he had not received any clarification from either party. In an interview, he opened up: “It’s a feeling that… I am deeply saddened by what happened to me. I stayed silent and dealt with it on my own for a long time. And, to this day, I have not received any clarification from those involved. For me, the amount of money is not the main issue. The most important thing is that this involves someone I trusted and with whom I could be open. That’s where all these problems came from. What bothers me most is not the money itself, but the fact that this action came from someone I trusted.”

Billy issued a statement today saying he did not know that the transferred payment was supposed to be split with Babe, as neither the company nor anyone else had ever informed him. He also stated that Idol Factory itself still owes him money, which led to the termination of his contract.

“The Idol Factory received half of the amount as an advance but did not pass it on to the artists nor cover the costs outlined in the contract. Even so, the invoice sent to me stated that I was to receive the 50,000 (approximately 1,500 USD). Acting in good faith, I believed this money had been paid exclusively to me. I had no intention of deceiving anyone and truly believed the amount was intended only for me. Later, Idol Factory informed me that the amount I received should be split with the other artist. I only learned afterward that there had been a billing issue involving Babe, and I was never contacted, nor was there any discussion with me about this matter.”

Finally, Billy said he will pay Babe his share and will pursue what Idol Factory still owes him directly: “I am willing to resolve the issue to maintain a good relationship. I will transfer the corresponding share. As for the remaining amount that I did not receive according to Idol Factory’s documents, I will seek that on my own. Let’s resolve this in a mature way. It’s not worth letting a small financial matter damage a relationship.”

The brand representative has now stated that 100% of the work was paid to the company and that this is an internal issue between the artists and the company. #BillyBabe
