This process was both challenging and rewarding, and though the end result was not in my favor, I look forward to continuing my work in Region 1 and however I can best be an asset to Superintendent Skipper and her team.

Across the country, parents are putting their children to bed, reading stories, singing lullabies—and in the back of their minds, they’re worried about what might happen tomorrow after they drop their kids off at school, or take them to a grocery store or any other public space.
Ribbon-cutting for the new East Boston EEC playground! Three years ago, we approached the principal to say we had under a week to apply for a grant for a new playground. Took some late nights but we got it! @BostonSchools, let’s now get playgrounds in all schools that need them!

We're all emotionally exhausted after the last year. We've lost so many and so much. But I refuse to let exhaustion help normalize 10 people getting shot and killed as they go about their daily lives, for any or no reason. We have a moral imperative to be better than this.
