I'm looking for people to take part in a survey. It's part of my PhD project, exploring what makes nostalgic video games memorable. I need to see how long the survey takes to complete, responses won't be used for analysis. Any help is appreciated! https://t.co/UizNKNU2qF
My latest, via @PsychToday. Really diggin' back into @Fallout here -- in fact, I think I'll go log out and play some #Fallout76 for a bit: https://t.co/OzKifhSlMi
@bowmanspartan@Fallout In some interviews for historical nostalgia, people wanted to experience games based on their current popularity in media - folks wanted to play Super Mario Bros because of the film release.
What an incredible evening watching @JamesBlunt in Bournemouth. I knew there was going to be a couple of sad songs, but I was caught off guard by the atmosphere of live music and hearing Goodbye My Lover. Tears, laughs, Mexican waves, and hugs, spectacular evening!
A friend is doing her final year UG project where she needs feedback on her campaign on dementia. If people have a moment to look at her work, it would be appreciated ๐

As part of LGBTQ+ history month I am taking part in the rainbow office hours scheme at @bournemouthuni. The world has definitely changed since I was an undergrad myself back in the late 90s. It is great to see schemes like this one taking place. #LGBTplusHM@drsarahhillier
I would define #cyberpsychology as a branch of psychology that ignited my passion for the science as a whole and a beacon of light on my career path. Very proud to be part of this publication. Special thanks to the Editors and the wider cyberpsych community for believing in me
I'll be on South Today this evening to discuss digital addiction. It is always difficult to convey complex phenomena in a limited time, but I hope I have been successful in stressing the need for evidence based approaches that understand individual needs. https://t.co/TmDs5aM5Wa
It's an incredible drama, and summarizes the heartbreaking events that occurred to so many postmasters. Through this series, thousands of voices are now being heard loud and clear. The hard work and dedication over the years is now fully recognized.
ITV's mini series of Mr Bates vs The Post Office has demonstrated the way entertainment media can change an individual's views, perceptions, and opinions of a national icon over a 4 hour period. Which has now led to policy and law changes.
ITV drama has done an amazing job of making the Post Office scandal resonate - sometimes only the empathy that a drama can break makes a campaign work.
Yet I've read a few denigrating journalists for not covering it. That's unfair, Private Eye has been all over this for years, as has Computer Weekly, there's been Panorama's, Radio 4 series and its been covered huge amount of time in many newspapers and news programmes.
It took a different type of cut through to make it resonate to this level, but that doesn't mean some of my fellow journalists didn't try.
