@JSAinslie JR is admittedly unlikely, among the other possible solutions. But challenging a decision concerning cultural property would raise interesting arguments with the outcome being so controversial, if it were ever to happen

@JSAinslie I agree on ownership, so I think a property action unlikely. Restitution should be available in unjustified enrichment though. Criminally, malicious mischief or vandalism might arise from either attaching or removing the plaque, depending on the consent of the column owner
