For me it’s more like being in school myself as we’re learning from each other and learning from the senior leadership team. You share ideas and can work together to implement them rather than being competitive like some industries. This follows all the way from the Head to Toe.
BME is a Family. We work as a team and can support each other. It is one of the larger primary schools I’ve seen the teachers work as team, We have some of the hardest cases and because we care so much we get the most rewarding results. If you’re with family it’s not like work.
I did a concept wall for my mentor teacher and I am super proud because she let me navigate this idea and execute it based in the standard ☺️ #blackeducator
Video of the wall bu itself in the comments 😂
Students want to be seen. They want to be heard. They want to matter.
Teachers do more than just teach academic standards; they bring hope. They’re not just preparing students for the next grade level; they’re preparing them for life.
It’s a pandemic people!
✅ Students deserve grace
✅ Families deserve grace
✅ Parents deserve grace
✅ Teachers deserve grace
✅ Leaders deserve grace
It’s not the time for accountability, perfectionism, playing I gotcha, or one size fits all.
We all deserve grace!
