i miss having a childhood where we’d ask the neighbor kids if they could come outside and play and we’d ride our scooters in the street and yell “CAR!” and eat popsicles. kids nowadays just wanna sit in front of screens. they don’t know what they’re missing.

@DigitalPromise A2) Within kindergarten writing, we usually discuss writing prompts together and have the students write their answers individually with some help. If they don't know how to spell certain words, we turtle talk it, sound it out, and push them to try their best. #PowerfulLearning
@DigitalPromise In Kindergaten, our students are young, so they enjoy choice while still having structure. We typically like to limit their choices to 2. In writing, if they have 2 worksheets available, we may give them the choice on which they prefer to complete together. #PowerfulLearning
