Disney Experience Revenue
2019: $26.2B
2025: $36.1B (projected with one Q left)
Once people actually stop going to the parks and the reality shown on social media matches the earnings, then we might see Disney return to the kind of magic people ‘miss.’
Can you imagine Disney ever previously having a comment like this? It used to be unthinkable. At what point will Disney recognize the damage being done to the brand? There are many such comments - it’s becoming all too common and sad.
@wallin_ballin@ScottGustin Remember when Hugh Johnston said “Walt Disney World just had a record Q3 revenue number” a couple a weeks ago then said “bookings for Experiences for the fourth quarter… are up about 6%.”…also in the same Q a competitor opened 🤪

Q4 earnings call
Q: How much of park growth is capacity vs. pricing power?
A: CFO Hugh Johnston: It’s a balance of both. We’re not assuming growth will be solely price or attendance. We’ll flex as needed and feel our model is reasonably conservative.
Still waiting on capacity
Seriously! Theme park should just stop removing attraction for new ride!
Add more to it so wait times won’t be long for other attractions. More capacity the better!
