A reminder that Russia is waging a terrorist war on Ukraine, and a reminder that standing by and watching are the richest nations on Earth, controlling the most powerful military alliance in history, an alliance created specifically to stop Russia in Europe. Sickening.
GeoConfirmed conflictmap UKR.
We try to avoid statements but there are limits.
After analyzing thousands of videos over more than four years, we feel we have earned the right to speak plainly: Russia is committing war crimes repeatedly and systematically and they are getting worse.
The longer the West fails to respond decisively, the more these crimes continue. This inaction also sends a dangerous signal to other authoritarian regimes, suggesting that international law can be violated with little consequence. As a result, the boundaries of international law are becoming increasingly weak and difficult to enforce.
The last few days have once again shown that the Russian regime is a terrorist regime that has little regard for humanitarian law:
(1)
After Ukraine agreed to a Russian 3-day ceasefire proposal, for the Russian commemoration of the end of World War II and its victory over Nazi Germany, Russia launched one of the most severe attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of the war, resulting in multiple civilian casualties.
This stands in stark contrast to Russia’s public rhetoric about peace and historical memory.
(2)
It is not enough that Russia is deliberately targeting civilians in Kherson, also known as the “human safari”, it has now also started attacking clearly marked UN vehicles, which would represent another serious violation of international law. Attempts to hide or destroy evidence only make these actions more alarming. And its not the first time they try to hide or manipulate evidence.
Western leaders, especially the Trump administration, should wake up instead of being so easily manipulated by the Russian regime.

@trainmaniac@jorgeclpires Seria incrível construir ciclovia junto a toda a linha e apartamentos paralelos.
The utter irony of Putin and Trump meeting soon in Budapest to jointly seal Ukraine’s fate should not be lost on anybody. This is the very same city where the US, the UK, and Russia came together 31 years ago to give Ukraine ironclad assurances that its territorial integrity would be respected and protected within existing borders in exchange for giving up a third of the world’s nuclear weapons (to Russia!). Ukraine trusted the US, trusted the UK, transferred all its nuclear weapons to Russia, and joined the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Within 20 years, Putin effectively ripped up the Budapest Memorandum, ignored Russia’s pledge, and invaded and annexed Crimea. In 2022, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine finally removed all remaining doubts about Putin’s imperial greed.
If treaties and agreements between countries are to be trusted, the US and the UK must stand by the original Budapest Memorandum and give the Ukrainians everything they need to push Russia out of Ukraine, as President Trump said he would do before taking Putin’s latest call. It is the only way for Ukraine to get its territory back and put an end to this brutal invasion.
If the US and Russia continue to ignore the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, how on Earth can Ukraine be expected to have any faith in yet another Budapest memorandum signed in the same city between Russia and the United States? They can’t.
@joxventura Toda a gente da escola de vela do Porto (BBDouro) diz que sim. Já está assim há mais de 3 anos pelo menos. Nessa não cabe 1/3 dos barcos da antiga, dúvido que a substitua.
"Mr. President Trump, you stood there like a little white noodle, like a fanboy," - said Arnold Schwarzenegger about Trump's meeting with Putin.

President of the USA Bill Clinton in 1994:
"Thanks to the Ukrainian parliament, you are removing the threat of nuclear power and laying the groundwork for an era of peace with your neighbours. I salute the courage you have shown. America will stand with you to support your independence, your territorial integrity, and your reforms. We are bound together by dedication to peace."
😂💯 “Lavrov — Russia’s foreign minister since, what, the birth of Christ? And nothing useful has come out of his mouth since,” — NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte jokes about Russia’s FM.
So Zelensky did everything Trump asked him to do, signed away mineral rights, agreed to an unconditional ceasefire, and the U.S. still cut off previously funded weapons supplies, leaving Ukrainian cities defenseless against Russian missile strikes. A lesson to all here.
Putin has never faced a free election. He killed opponents, jailed others, and rewrote the constitution to rule indefinitely
Yet it’s Zelenskyy - elected in a free and fair vote - whose legitimacy gets questioned
Macron had said it best: Zelenskyy was elected. Putin was not
