Yesterday we celebrated Pentecost, my fav soccer team won the championship, I went to a concert on Friday, grilled carne Asada with friends Saturday, tomorrow I’ll visit people at the hospital, I have a retreat this weekend…
Life has been going good. Blessed be God!
“In my mess, I still progress. In my brokenness, I still walk. Even with my wounds, I still love. I might have failed but I’m not done.”
If you want to reflect more into this matter, read:
▪️Philippians 3:12-16
▪️Sermon 169, 18 (St. Augustine)
▪️Sermon 306B, 1-3 (St. Augustine)
Since I moved to North Texas, I’ve been acquiring “cowboy-ish” items. Today I was so decided to buy a new formal pair of boots, a hat, and a belt.
I can’t tell how discouraged I left the store. It’s very expensive to become a cowboy. No wonder why Willie Nelson wrote the song.
O God, you search me, and you know me. All my thoughts lie open to your gaze. When I walk or lie down, you are before me. Ever the maker and keeper of my days✨
This song (psalm) moves me deeply🫶🏻

My motto for the past weeks/months has been: “Hic et Nunc” (Here and Now).
Enjoy here and now, the presence. When we get to heaven, that’s all we’re going to do, might as well start now.
Today, put your phone away for a moment, and enjoy the presence (even if it’s only you).
