@sgigot Then that internal candidate needs people shouting from the rooftops (and twitterverse) that 90k is too low for a senior full stack developer, no mater where you live in the USA.

I think I get about the same amount of recruiter emails and messages as others, but today's just literally made me LOL. They want a Senior Full Stack Eng with 5 years minimum Magento experience, must relocate to Idaho, for only $90k salary. Big ole heck to the no thank you.

@Nylons @datadoghq Oops, I did make it seem like they got me the book, but I totally bought it for myself! However, @datadoghq (and other tech companies) should definitely consider it for the onboarding process! As a nerd, I think having this as a formal part of onboarding would be awesome.

It's been seven months since I was laid off. I'm still barely treading water most of the time, trying to figure out where I'm landing- Sometimes it feels like I might never land. Back to looking for a full time gig. Creative industry would be nice, tech industry is also ok.

@ashedryden We’ve seen multiple suppliers for the insulation in the box. We had some that was reflective bubble wrap for several boxes, then received a bunch with what appear to be recycled fibers, but then that’s in a plastic bag, so either way a bit more than grocery shopping IMO.

Sometimes I get irritated that for the last six months I can’t buy everything on my grocery list because something’s always sold out or back ordered, but then I remember people are literally dying from this pandemic and decide it’s okay to go another week without my fav thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been really down on myself internally lately about creating businesses outside of the tech industry. Like I'm failing others, as a woman who left tech. So I'm trying to start to frame myself less as a "tech industry drop out" or "casualty" and more as "tech industry escapee"
